In 2013, It cost me $1200 to move from Rochester Hills to Lake Orion with TMAAT, and over $8,000 to move 12 miles away to the same area I had left ( with the same items, or less because I had decluttered.) in 2019. Totally unprofessional and a TON of hidden fees! What happened? I had storage items in their company’s storage unit (that also had hidden fees), so I went with them thinking that they were the same company as the gratis. No! This was like the three stooges! Talk about dllly dallying!

The movers were friendly enough but we wished we hired a more responsible company. The movers removed the door of our fridge to move it and then lost the hinges and screws. We had to throw out food since they would not return our calls on the weekend (we moved on a Saturday). It’s been over a month and I guess they are still waiting for parts. We ordered the parts ourselves when it became clear the company would not fix. We paid $2000 for 5 hours of help, so we definitely were expecting more professionalism.

I feel terrible about negative reviews, but this was my experience: 1. My scheduled “start window” was 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM. I was told I would get a call when the truck was on the way since that's when the clock started. No one called. 2. You are charged by the hour. I was told there would be three guys. One guy knew what he was doing, and the other two were being trained. One said he was a “volunteer” and couldn't have been older than 18 or 19.
Absolutely unacceptable experience from start to finish. I hired Two Men and a Truck for what should have been a straightforward move, and it turned into a complete disaster. First, they completely underestimated how many trucks were needed, which meant they didn’t finish the move. I had to hire another company to complete the job—an additional day off work and more money out of my pocket. They also showed up understaffed, and in the process, their crew damaged a $10,000 mattress, as shown in the photos.

Terrible experience with this company. I used them last summer to move. They charge by the hour. We kept catching one of the movers wasting time on his phone, adding to the time it took to move. I complained to the manager. He said he would refund me for half an hour. Never received any refund. When I called back a few months later, checking on the refund, I had to leave a message and never received a returned call.
Hello Terri. After looking through our customer database, it appears that we have never provided you with our moving services. Their are other Two Men and a Truck franchises that are independently owned that you may have moved with last summer.
We were very pleased with the service from Two men an a truck. Both men worked together efficiently fast and were both very polite! Took very good care of all of our personal property ! We had no issues, very grateful! In these times you don’t get that kind of service normally anymore but these two guys were A+

Outstanding move cross town! Move team and support staff were all wonderful and very responsive. All the furniture was wrapped and also protected with moving pads. The young men who completed the move were prompt, fast, friendly and delivered everything exactly as it was when they picked it up. I would not hesitate to use them again.

This is the third time we've used these folks over the last fifteen years( twice in one year!!) and they've NEVER disappointed, from the office staff to the " two men and a truck" (actually three). The fellas were polite and workmen like. Our bill came in under estimate in no small part to their efforts. THEY NEVER STOPPED! Everyone involved went out the their way to make, which can be an aggravating/stressful situation, to anything but that.

I’m going to go ahead and give Two men and a Truck 5 stars. This is the first time I’ve ever had to hire a company as we’ve always handled prior moves ourselves but 2 of the three pieces of furniture were too bulky & just plain heavy for us this time. The day of the move started out a bit dicey with the communication from the movers but they adjusted to be fair.

Being the first time ever using movers, I wasn't sure what to expect. After calling around for estimate I found Two Men In A Truck the most reasonable. The receptionist Jessica was very accommodating and professional every time I called (3 separate occasions ). There was a 5 minute wait time to speak to her at times I called but to their defense those times I called were peak hours and on a Friday and Saturday.
