If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. The crew were very friendly, BUT: 1. They stole prescription medications out of my bedside table. Make sure any valuables, medications, etc are well hidden. 2. They broke one of the legs off the couch, and they didn’t bother to tell me. I only discovered it after they left, when the couch collapsed as soon as I sat down. 3.
6 hrs to move a packed 1 bd apartment, no appliances included!! They took 3 hrs to load but only 1.5hr to unload?!? . Often, found them just standing around socializing w neighbors and playing with pets! Then, I was charged an overtime fee when promised I wouldn’t. Very disappointed and disgusted by these people’s work ethic!

Start to finish and beyond, Alaska Terminals Moving Company made my whole moving experience not only easy, but highly enjoyable as well! My Pre-inspection and phone calls with Dave were handled promptly, with respect, and with an emphasis on what my needs were. The crews that packed us up and hauled our goods to our new location were very courteous to me, my kids, and everyone else walking through our house during our transition.
I've never had a move go as smooth as this one. Nicole was fantastic with the coordination and kept us informed all the way. Matt & Art packed our deceased mom's belongings to include a large amount of crystal, china and family heirlooms. Everything arrived with absolutely no damage! It also arrived two weeks ahead of schedule.
I moved my stuff from Alaska to Pennsylvania. It was to take 4 or 5 weeks, but I actually needed a bit longer, so I was glad they will store your things for a short time at no extra charge. Calista Ross was the person helping me. She did the estimates and was very up front about prices and how it all works. Even after I got to PA, she kept in touch to find out when I wanted it delivered. The 2 guys that packed my things were fast and efficient.
Best experience I’ve had with movers in my military career. No wonder they are 5 stars average on Google. They handle everything with care and packed/cushioned everything! Never had this much ease of mind with my stuff. The workers themselves were great people too! Down to earth people doing amazing work! I wish every move was these guys doing it. If you see Alaska Terminals as your assigned mover, you know you’re in the best hands!
