worst experience moving ever. I have moved 8 times with professional movers and this is the worst. First our delivery was delayed 4 weeks and then another 9 weeks. they changed trucks and lost multiple items. they denied claims on missing …
We used Alexanders for an international move last year and this year and I cant even begin to explain what a disaster it was from the very start to the very finish. We had our items moved from Ottawa in Canada to Dublin Ireland through a work move. I have the issues below: - Most of the communication was done via email and was all over the place. Emails being missed on the regular, far too many cooks and crossed wires. I had to push for a call and that was a reluctant decision at best.
Total scam! Estimate yesterday was a joke. 11,000lbs?! “150lb grill” is 13.5lbs. Two queen mattresses? Try one queen and a blow up mattress. Four TVs? One large and one tiny. Two metal patio chairs? Three small fold up camping chairs. Metal ladder? It’s wooden and really small. Tool chest? Nope. The list goes on but I’ll stop there. Don’t waste your time. Do not hire this company.

Never, never, ever use this moving company! I hired them to unload a POD into our apartment. The rate I was quoted was $95 an hour for two movers and 3 hours minimum. The pod was placed in the parking lot about 30-40 feet from the front …
We appreciate your concerns about your move but we don't deliver PODs and believe that you have contacted the wrong company.
The staff noticed one bug in the kitchen and informed me that packing had to be aborted. If this is the policy for stopping the packing, how many customers are left to be served by this company?

One can’t say enough about this stellar company as a whole and as individual professionals. From start to finish they all were helpful, careful, reliable, communicative, professional and friendly. Every person in this company handled themselves at top notch levels. Everything was handled with care. Nothing was damaged and nothing was mishandled.
We recently moved from Collierville, TN to Cary, NC, and Alexander’s Mobility Services was outstanding. A crew of six packed and loaded our 6 bedroom home in just three days, and they took great care with everything. The entire team was kind, friendly, hardworking, and professional. Our crew leader, Dan, was with us both in TN and NC, and he was great. Moving a house this size could have been incredibly stressful, but they made the entire process smooth and easy.

This was my first time hiring movers, and I can confidently say I’ll be working with them again for any future moves. They made the entire process seamless and stress-free.
