All Mighty Movers

If I could give 0 stars I would. All Mighty Movers provided terrible service in that they failed to contract competent movers and had terrible communication with said movers. While I hired AMM to take care of my move based on their reviews, they contracted everything through Carefree Movers Inc (out of Des Moines, IA). Upon pickup, CFM told me I had to pay 200% what AMM had quoted me in their contract.

I use them for moving my 3 bed/2 bath house. They do charge travel time from their site, between locations and back to their office as part of their agreement. I taked to the owner a couple times - going over the list of items that I had to move. They did not offer or make any arrangements to come to my house to inventory what needed moving. I had asked him if they would and he said no. I went thru each room an detailed the furniture and approximate number of boxes, as we were still packing.

If I could not give any stars, that is what it would be. I booked my move over a month ago and was booked for a Saturday with them arriving between noon-1pm. Was called this Thursday afternoon to make sure I was ready for my move on Friday at 8am. Told them that I wasn’t quoted that time and we weren’t ready for the move. Was told that she would call me back which she did and said they would come to the house on Saturday between 1-2pm.

I hired All Mighty Movers to move us from our apartment to our house across town. The moving team worked fast, but one of the movers was not very careful and proceeded to drop a well-packed box of glassware during the move, which broke a few glasses and coffee mugs. We also had new scrapes and scratches on our vinyl couch that were not there prior to the move.

First I will start with the movers themselves. They were the positive. They did a good job. The negative was the service from the office and the owner himself. We were moving from a rental 3 bedroom townhome in Ankeny to a new hone we purchased in Johnston. We also have a storage unit in Monroe that needed to be moved to the new home as well. My wife filled out all of the info online for what we had. We do have a good amount of items for a 3 bedroom place.

Professional, fast and took great care of my belongings. Or so I thought. Was moving out of state. The crew took more space in the semi than we used moving an entire house 2 years prior. This move was way less. Then I get my belongings in Texas to find they not only failed to cover my couch with moving pads but they ripped the top and now my light gray couch is filthy and in bad shape. I provided moving pads and they were proud they had leftovers at the end.

We hired All Might Movers last April, 2023. This company was truly abhorrent to work with. They arrived about a half hour late on moving day (no big deal at the time). The movers claimed they were not told about our stationary bike and that it would be an extra fee. This was either not true or a lapse on the receptionist who I talked to. After taking 3 hours(quoted the entire move at 4 hours) to get a two-bedroom townhouse loaded up, we had a 30 minute drive to our destination.

I pursued this company to move to a new house because of their great review rating. I can't even comment on their moving services, because I wasn't able to get that far. The process of trying to even get a price estimate from them was a total nightmare. - I first contacted them via the email address provided on their website. My email provided the date I wanted to move, some details about my house, and I asked them to let me know what other information they needed or if they wanted to come out.
