All My Sons Moving & Storage

Stay away from All My Sons Naples. First they tried to extort money from me before they even arrived at my new home. The job was more than they expected so they asked if they could fill the trucks and bring them the next day and I said no problem. Then I got a phone call that they wanted half the money and I said no way that's not the contract. We had a very upsetting discussion on the phone and he threatened to not bring my furniture to my new home unless I paid him half the money, which was not in the contract.

If you are looking for a moving company in Naples, Florida area DO NOT USE. The office is well spoken and professional to OBTAIN your business but quotes are low balled in order for their business to be better in price than others in the area. The estimate and actual hours where more ~50% higher than quoted even though was very transparent on a straight forward job (no disassembly required and confirmed stairs in advance).

DO NOT HIRE!! I'm the type of person who leaves good reviews so if I'm leaving a bad one, just know that the experience was very bad! I wish I would have read these reviews prior to hiring this moving company. Here's my experience in a nutshell. Danny walked into my apartment and immediately had an attitude. I'm a third floor unit with no elevator. I asked if they let him know he was moving the third floor. His comment was "they don't tell us stuff like that because then they wouldn't show up for work".

***The company responded to this review and gave me a number that you still cannot get ahold of anyone.**** I contacted the company to help load my pod for my move. I had told them that I had 2 large fridges that will be needing to be moved so make sure they have the correct equipment. When the movers got there I told them how they needed to get the fridges out of my house since it was a tight squeeze. They needed to take the handles off it.

I'd recommend avoiding this company. I hired them to move a storage unit of furniture from the storage unit to my new home about a mile away. As they were loading my ping pong table, I commented that they should strap it differently. They didn't change it evidently as when we arrived at my house, a piece of exercise equipment had shifted and destroyed my ping pong table. The movers apologized and said the company would take care of it.

This was not a good experience. I paid over $700 for 2.5 hours, furnished my own mattress bag which i was then charged $22 as an extra. $65 for plastic wrap where only two pieces that i saw were wrapped. The crew sent by AMS didn't know how to stack a Pod. They left a big hole in the middle of the Pod, stacking bigger boxes towards the back where I had to direct them to fill with smaller boxes just to fill the gaps and tighten up the load so it wouldn't shift during transport.

Please do NOT hire All My Sons moving even if you think your move is small. Incredibly questionable practices and wording of contracts. A story of how a ~$650 move turned into $2500+. Similar to others who have posted reviews, the office that obtains your business masquerades the experience you'll receive against the different office that actually handles your move. Booking folks are friendly helpful and reassuring. Once your move is in progress or after the fact, conflict resolution is non-existent.

I do NOT recommend this company. I had a very disappointing experience with All My Sons Moving & Storage. I paid $175 for their protection plan, which covers up to $5,000 in damages. One of my most valuable items—a $2,000 marble table, was badly damaged during the move (cracked, broken support corner, unstable). Despite detailed photos and a formal claim, they offered just $550 and claimed there was “no structural damage”, completely inaccurate, and this amount included $200 for the repair of a drywall corner…
