To start I hired this moving company on 12/1 for an unloading job only. This company damaged MULTIPLE pieces of my furniture including a sectional, dresser, large Vases as well as a glass fireplace. Even though the guys admitted thy damaged the items the owner Travis (whom wasn’t there) tried to place the blame on us for having “large” items and a small entryway which is weird considering I watched them hit my dresser once they were inside of the apartment.

I really don’t understand why they canceled my order. How does a moving company say they don’t feel comfortable with moving a refrigerator up one flight of stairs. It seems like they only choose the easy jobs and my job was average. One bedroom apt. They’re unprofessional
Would highly recommend AGAINST using this service. I booked them a week in advance and had a set coordinated time they were to show up to coordinate with when I had my freight elevator reserved. They NEVER showed up! I called the manager …
Overall a terrible experience. The movers showed up an hour early (I guess better than late) but we didn’t have our truck yet so that completely through off the day. They dented my front door, put a 3 inch diameter hole in the wall in the hallway, and damaged numerous areas of the trim. They also broke my less than 6 month old desk. To top it off, we were asked to pay extra for their work. It was a 750 sq ft apartment, my boyfriend helped them move stuff almost the entire time.
Guys were nice and courteous, although they broke my washing machine lid. Travis said they would fix it, and gave me the run around (part on order etc). Almost a year later and no resolution. …

They were incredibly rude and made the client cry. They were also late and did not finish the job. Do not hire these guys!

I contacted Alpha moving to move my mom in a retirement center from one room to another. Travis was very helpful and responsive. On the initial contact, Travis explained this was a job they could do, gave me an estimate and told me to contact him as soon as I was ready. He was always quick to respond to my text messages. On the day of the move Travis stayed in contact with me to let me know the time of arrival and any updates. Travis and Dustin were wonderful!!! They were very professional, kind and hardworking.

I have used Alpha moving assistance many times and for many different purposes and let me just say … Alpha moving assistance is a critical component to today’s logistics and labor services! More and more of the largest population of people are becoming increasingly physically dependent on others for maintenance and logistical obligations.., and we all have that friend that owes us a favor ..and yet can’t seem to make it over.., or it’s always pending on their schedule, and these larger corporate moving companies…

We have used Alpha twice with the first being a relatively light job and this second a 26 ft truck and a 24 ft trailer whole house move. They are always on time, the guys work hard, are efficient and handle all the items with care. Best of all we enjoy talking with them and they are certainly polite and will engage. Be assured Alpha will give you your moneys worth and you will be helping out some college students as well. It’s a win win!!

There are not enough good things I can say about Alpha Moving. I had a family member that, due to personal problems, had a delicate situation with her home. I called Travis at Alpha moving a few days before she had to move out and was told they could do the job. After Travis did a visit to the house to see what it would take to do the job it was discovered the situation was worse than expected.
