American Master Movers

American Master Movers showed up almost an hour late outside of their window. They move just a portion of our furniture claiming some bags were not tied so they did move them even then they were out ready for packing in the truck. I was called the day before and told that because of the low number of our items, we were over quoted and that they were lowering our rate from 3 men to 2 men... 3 men showed up and thus we were charged the higher rate.

My family was put danger while using this company, and they are ghosting me from collecting the insurance I purchased from them. I paid $3k ($1,200 over paid from the quote I was provide) and they wrecked several pieces of furniture- irreplaceable theater chairs, dressers have chunks missing from them, couches have been torn. Doors in my house were taken off hinges and never put back, they left trash in my son's bedroom, the list goes on.

By far the worst moving company we have ever had. We should have read all of the low star reviews first - we had the exact same experience. Unprofessional group, used our bathrooms without asking repeatedly, took breaks to make phone calls, didn't even fill the truck all the way so we had to do multiple additional loads ourselves, left trash in our driveway and garage, broke our items then said they weren't covered under the insurance we were mandated to purchase through them.

Caution- these are sales people. Check their yelp reviews. We were told $199 flat rate for the truck and $199/hour for 3 movers with an estimate of 3 hours for a grand total of $800. Then the day of our move I get a text 20 minutes before they arrive saying I need to sign a contract which states only 2 movers for $169/hr. When they arrived we found out someone named OJ didn't show up.

**MOVERS BEWARE** Scheduled American Master Movers for a simple move (apartment items to storage / leather sofa & love seat set to separate residence). Two men showed up on time and promptly began moving. When I made my reservation, I was told all the “services” that were included, with one being that all furniture would be wrapped in blankets for the move. I noticed right away that all furniture was only being wrapped in stretch wrap, not blankets as discussed.

Unbelievable!!! No star or minus stars would be a better review. Hired a week in advance to simply move a washer and dryer 20 minutes away. Was told 9:00 on Saturday .Then the morning of was given 9:00-11:00 via text, which threw the day off completely. My sister-in-laws flew in from Florida for 2 days specifically for this purpose. This company, never showed, never called, nor responded to countless calls and texts. Beyond awful and beyond unprofessional.

I'm extremely upset with this company at the moment. I was not told the were moved out of Parker when I hired them and was charged extra time for them traveling. This even shows they are located in Parker. All of the sudden they are ignoring my phone calls and now there voicemail is full. I left 2 messages that was it. Some of my stuff was damaged and they didn't put my deposit towards the total bill. I'm extremely upset and this review will not be removed until someone from the company makes this right.

Do Not Use Them!! We used the South Denver service and scheduled three movers. Only two showed and the supervisor spent most of the time on the phone. Our move time doubled and did not finish until about 8pm at night and I still had left …
