All My Sons Moving & Storage

Absolutely horrific experience. I would give zero stars if I could. This company is nothing short of a scam designed to drag out jobs and squeeze as much money as possible from customers. Every single one of my belongings was already packed, organized, and sitting in a storage unit. I specifically instructed them NOT to wrap or re-box anything. They completely ignored my instructions and proceeded to triple-wrap items and unnecessarily re-box things, clearly wasting time to increase the number of billable hours.

I would not recommend this company. I booked a morning move and found out the day before the move, in the planning phone call, that I had been bumped to the afternoon. They wound up showing up at 6:00pm. The guys worked hard but managed to ruin my leather couch and loveseat by not paying attention to what they were doing. They drug both pieces across the concrete breezeway and ruined them both.

Do not use this company ever- I have a 2 part review. I needed labor only to move a few things from house to garage and 3 pieces to the basement. Good: Actual movers did a great job and showed up on time and wrapped items. Bad: pricing all over the place and inconsistent. Each person (8 total) gave me different pricing and basically made things up or lied. Field vice president (Ryan)must be made up person who texts because I never talked to a human or got a response to concerns even when asked to share.

Worst moving company I’ve EVER hired I would give them zero starts rating if I could. Unprofessional they had the nerve to leave drinks on the floor and my desk on the second floor including Gatorade and energy drinks. I found them after they took my money. Numerous items we asked them to move they threw away later found out once got into our new home. Charged $259/hour but not even worth $1 for the service they perform.

Should’ve stuck with my gut and cancelled like I originally tried. Allowed the agent I spoke with to convince me not to cancel but offering me numerous discounts and comps. When movers actually came, they brought a third mover when Iwhat I agreed to (and have it documented) was two movers. Tons of add on costs that are not mentioned to begin with as well. I was also told I would get a valuation deal of $50 and the mover insisted that doesn’t exist, and he just bypassed it and didn’t give me the valuation.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of hiring All My Sons Moving Company in Denver, and I must caution potential customers to think twice before considering their services. If I could give them zero stars, I would. My first complaint revolves around their pricing tactics. Initially, they pitch you a seemingly reasonable price, when they are actually on the high range. It must be better service you may think right? I did my research and found a less expensive option and called AMS back to get my deposit back.

Very nice when scheduling, price match offered. 2 days before my move I get the inventory and estimate which seemed high but called to clarify and was told that is just provided but won’t be that much. Moving day things went ok, everything got moved in one piece. Then BAM bill was $800 MORE then the estimate I was told over the phone when I called to confirm cost. Movers didn’t unwrap all the furniture that I ended up over paying for. Then I called and was told “ oh $400 more than my estimate.

This company is misleading and set on taking as much time as possible on top of not being upfront about certain “requirements” and materials costs that add to the outrageous overall costs. I had very few items to move , and in the past I have used movers multiple times with entire rooms full of boxes and furniture. I had 16 boxes , 8 clothing bags , a tv , small lightweight couch and chair , coffee table , one bed , dresser and nightstand , and one dining cabinet and dressing table .
