My experience with this company was extremely disappointing from start to finish, and I would not recommend them to anyone. The problems began with the estimate. Nicole helped us with the initial quote and told us the cost would be around $4,000. She repeatedly instructed us to count every item carefully and warned us that the price could change if we missed anything. At no point did she explain that the estimate would be based on volume, cubic measurements, or square footage.

Disappointed. I used this company based on the reviews from Google reviews. I paid to have them pack my items, store in Colorado, then for a cross country move to the southeast US. The crews were very professional (no problem there). The crews packed my things and everything was going well. When it came time to receive my items, they were late; not once, not twice, but three times. On the third time, we discovered they hadn't even loaded them on the cross country truck! Once delivered, numerous items were broken.

Working with American moving and storage has been the worst experience that I have ever had while moving. Their sales reps are very kind, but work in a very shady way. I called for an interstate move quote at the start of February for an end of March move and for roughly 900 miles I was told it would be $1800. Paid half up front, then a quarter on pick up and a quarter on drop off. Pick up was scheduled for end of march and delivery scheduled for 7 days later. Sounded like a great deal to me.

I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH I DO NOT RECOMMEND American Moving and Storage/Bekins!!! This by far is the worst moving experience we've ever had. We hired American Moving & Storage/Bekins to move our four-bedroom home from CO to MN between 8/24 - 9/10. The first part of the moving experience was good and met expectations. The team that arrived was professional, hardworking and appeared to take good care of our furnishings. That is where the quality customer service ended.

three room 700 sq in same zepcoud asking $1800 may more. After i did review the owner call me use diffrent pho # to bother me and threaten , i dont understand if he very care the review why he did so stupid motion?!?! and asking me remove my review. i told him im not going to change anything and you cannot request me to do anything. do not text and call me. after that he still text me. i blocked him.

Had a recent move with this American Moving. They hired a driver from a different company to transfer our items. During my move, they did not correctly estimate how much space the driver would need and upon driver arrival to the warehouse, the driver claimed she didn't have enough space and proceeded to opening our boxes and sniffing through the items to "minimize space". This was done without our permission.

I chose this moving company because my sister used them twice. To start the movers we’re 30 minutes late. I was quoted 40.00 per TV because the movers used a special box to move the TVS in. When the movers went to move the TV they told me it was 125.00 to move the only TV we chose to have them move. I told them never mind I’ll get it moved myself.

Very little attention to detail. Very poor customer service. Crew lead lacks customer service skills. Upper management had to show up on site to remedy situation. Would not use again. 1) Tried to lay our LED TV on its back for transportation, and did not know that this is the best way to ruin a flatscreen TV due to the stress load being distributed on the actual screen. Customer had to prevent this and tell them to store in a vertical position.
