Used these guys to move my sister in law, who is disabled in a wheelchair and recently moved to an assisted living facility. Her care company hired these guys to move her and we paid the bill. On the day of the move the owner called me to advise me of the total and complained the whole time about the elevator at the assisted living facility being slow and the job taking longer than it should have to complete.
They are absolutely the worst. The owner cursed at me when he told me the double booked and that he has to reschedule my move. Hung up on me never returned my calls then finally did and then just didn't show up for my move. DO NOT USE THEM!!!. WAST OF TIME AND MONEY!!!. they are the worst company to hire. I was talking to Simon. Very very unprofessional and will curse at you over anything if it doesn't go his way. Completly screwed me over. Don't go with them. They will screw you over.
Price was not what was agreed. They were prompt, able to take a last minute delivery request and had great communication leading up to the service, which is the only reason I am giving 2 stars. HIGHLY recommend quote in writing. Had provided a quote per hour, and any additional time would be billed at 15 minute increments. Knew the addresses in advance and confirmed everything should take around an hour. Upon delivery hit us with $150 mileage fee that WAS not communicated in advance.
Havent even dealt with them as a customer and was treated rude. Was walking through a parking lot this morning and slipped on black ice, bumping into one of the moving trailers. The man inside proceeded to get out of his truck and ran to follow me across the parking lot. When I noticed and turned around, he asked if I had hit his truck. I told him what had happened and that it was accidental and I was sorry and he proceeded to give me a dirty look and say "Yeah okay".
I did not not book this firm directly but they showed up, apparently contracted by the firm I booked thru. The guy was clearly annoyed that the job was not what he was expecting and was not friendly, helpful or personable. While I was on the phone with the other company trying to rectify the issue, they drove away without saying a word and clearly had no qualms about leaving me in a completely untenable situation!
Pretty sure this is just a guy living out of a trailer, not an actual professional mover. Why would a moving company use a tiny 8ft cargo trailer, and why would that trailer need a smoke stack installed on the roof? Based on the other reviews, it really doesn't seem like a moving company at all, and if it is, definitely not a professional one. Also, the address is to a residential apartment complex, not an actual office or commercial space. Be wary, could be a scam.
