Apollo Moving

Worst moving company I have ever worked with, I would avoid at all cost. The movers were nice guys but the boss was extremely arrogant and even aggressive. The day of the move, they were very late and I had to do the follow up to make sure someone would show up to help my move (as I think my move would have fell through the cracks). I had to move half of the load to make sure that the timing worked with the booked elevators.

Our moving experience was different. The guys were polite and nice, but only two showed up the day we booked for the moving. It took them 10 hours just to move us. They packed and moved everything good nothing broke. They definitely worked hard, but I was missing pieces from my bedframe so when I called to ask if it might be on the truck still, they argued back with us after we looked all over the house and in the backyard, three people looked everywhere.

Keep moving past this mover. Do not book !! I have moved 6 times in my life by far the worst movers ever !!! Showed up an hour and a half late. Never put the pads down on the floors /stairs. Took 2 hours to dissemble the beds. Dropped our dresser broke our TV for which they said their insurance would compensate .60c per pound. The tv was $800 bought in 2020 they are willing to give $30 for it. 😳 still no money 3 weeks later. No response on when we will get reimbursed.

Okay, here is my experience with Apollo Moving. In Summary, it was horrible and very costly at the end. First, the move was planned to start at 10am and i was told and confirmed that movers will be there by 9:30am. I had called second time to confirm same. So i had planned my entire move based on this confirmation, like service elevator, additional help and other appointments. But on day of moving, at 10am, I was messaged to provide the address and then told that they will reach there by 11am.

Worst experience ever. Slow movers. Charge extra at the end due to slow movers. To move a small 1 bedroom charging $515.00. Edit: The move would of been longer than 3.5 hours. They were extremely slow. The property manager, my Father, Son and myself had to help moving boxes and furniture. You could imagine how upset I would be to pay someone and move my own stuff. I was then hot, tired and frustrated then told I owe them extra. I just did half the work!

I chose Apollo Moving company because their review score on Google was very good but I'm so much disappointed in choosing this company. And it made me sharing my bad experiences here. There are a lot of consumer complaints about moving companies, so I had to confirm with Apollo Moving twice until two days ago to see if it was confirmed to arrive at the pickup location between 9:00 am and 10:00 am on the day of moving, but they didn't appear on time.

Extremely unprofessional. We called them 3 days ahead of our moving date, paid their booking fee and got confirmation. Called them again at 8am of the morning of the moving day again to make sure they were able to come down, to which their operator said that they were going to be there between 9 and 10 am. At around 9:30 am, we received a call from an employee, who informed us that his truck had broken down and the moving day had to be postponed by a day.

Absolutely terrible experience with Apollo Moving. I wish I had never hired them. They completely destroyed our $3000 worth of furniture, and had the audacity to promise they would come back to repair it—never happened. Total scam. Instead, they went silent and then charged us DOUBLE on our credit card without any explanation. They misplaced all our screws too for the bed which they said they will come back and fix it! Basic setup wasn’t even completed.
