Hiring Windia Movers — and specifically dealing with Ashmar — was one of the worst decisions we’ve ever made. They dropped and completely destroyed our TV during the move. That alone was frustrating, but what happened next was absolutely unbelievable. For over TWO MONTHS, we’ve been trying to get even a single update. No callbacks. No follow-through. No accountability. Just empty promises and complete silence. This wasn’t just bad customer service — it felt like we were being ignored on purpose.

Extremely unprofessional company ethics. They double-booked multiple moves at the same time, which resulted in them arriving 3 hours late to my booking. What should have been a straightforward move from a 1+den condo to a house only 20 minutes away ended up taking nearly 10 hours, simply because my move was treated as an afterthought. The crew had already completed another full move before coming to mine, so understandably they were exhausted by the time they arrived.

Terrible experience. They came unprepared, without tools or blankets, and seemed inexperienced. They wasted my entire day, and I had to cancel the service. No refund was given, and many of their positive reviews look fake. Avoid them.

We hired this moving company for a 4-hour move and were very clear in advance that we had a large amount of items. We repeatedly asked for a large truck, but a medium sized truck was sent instead. Because of this, they were unable to fit a significant portion of our belongings, leaving many boxes behind in the basement even after hours of work. All items were already boxed and ready.

Seeming their reviews I have booked them. Very very disappointed. Not professional at all. They did not even have bubble wraps for TVs and I had to wrap it myself. I specifically asked them if their people know how to uninstall and reinstall dishwasher and laundry machines and I was told yes. They did not know any thing. Half way they left the dishwasher couldn’t do it. Moreover next few days I was having water leak from there till I got it fixed. Our stairs in both houses are ruined the way furniture was dragged.

Absolutely disappointed with the level of unprofessionalism from this moving company. Two movers showed up, but only one actually did the majority of the work while the other barely helped. Before the move even started, I clearly pointed out which items were fragile and asked them multiple times to be careful, yet items were still damaged due to careless handling. What made the situation even worse was how they handled the aftermath.

I’m writing this review so no one else ends up in the situation we’re in. We hired Windia Movers, and while everything looked fine at first, the moment something went wrong, the entire company — especially Ashmar — vanished. During the move, they dropped our TV and shattered it. Mistakes happen, and we weren’t unreasonable. We simply expected them to follow up and make it right. Instead, we spent the last two months calling, emailing, texting — and got absolutely no real response.

As per the signed agreement, Windia Movers were supposed to arrive at 2:00 PM with a 15-foot truck to pack and move my belongings to a storage facility. Instead, they showed up with what looked like a minivan and two movers who could barely communicate in English. After inspecting the house, they admitted that the vehicle would not fit all the items, left the property, and returned 30 minutes later.
