I chose this company based on its reviews, and now I wish I went with someone else. I will say that the guys were super friendly and fast, but their packing in the uhaul -- notably, a lack of nearly ANY tie-downs and placing heavy furniture on top of cardboard boxes -- resulted in some of my furniture being damaged. In fact, the movers at my destination city remarked on the "amateur" job inside the van.
We’re not positive on who to address due to the lack of a name on the review. If this was in fact a move handled by our company we would love to discuss this further so we can take care of any issues we may have caused.
This company had good guys working for them however they were very rough with my furniture. They must have packed their trucks so tightly Because Many items were broken, dented, scratched and some damaged beyond repair. Unfortunately , one of my large garment boxes never arrived. I purchased the extra insurance to no avail. I would not recommend this company.
Cynthia, You know this isn’t true or what happened. We received one photo of a broken piece of marble that previously had a stress fracture in it (made know to you by our crew prior to the move) and still offered to have it repaired to its original condition.
Loaded a POD in 90 min. Lots of smashed boxes. Metal against wood, I had to keep telling them to wrap w blankets. Second load, 26' truck. Showed up two hours late. Single stack then threw everything on at the end. Poor strategy and bad waste of space. Then I was invoiced because the mover went on vacation w check in pocket. So many errors. Cannot recommend.

Don't know where all these wonderful reviews come from but I just had the worst moving experience of my life! The moving day from hell! I'm a 68 year old disabled woman moving from the second floor to a first floor apartment in the same complex. I had a 12:00 noon moving appointment. I got a call from the moving crew at 11:00 a.m. saying they just started their first appointment so they would not get to me until about 5:00 p.m. What? They said call the boss.
I wrote a favorable review 2 years ago and recently learned how to edit them. This company would not return my cast iron pans. I left 2 voice mail messages. The driver put them in his cab and forgot to move them in our home. Very disappointed in their neglect to return our cast iron pans. Been in the family for generations. One star for being dishonest.
Hey J H, Not sure what specific move this is referring to or where there was a loss in communication but this does not sound on brand for us. Sorry for any missed communication but we are very prompt to reply to phone calls and emails. Maybe the wrong number.
Literally have been blocking the exit gate to a multi family building for over 3 hours. They have been asked to move multiple times yet continue to block the exit. Absolutely ridiculous that residents have to maneuver through the entrance gate in hopes that no oncoming vehicles hit them.
Erica, Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review. Our movers are parked exactly where they were instructed to by the building management. Building management came in person and backed them into that position.

From beginning to end I was very happy with this company. Kyle was responsive in giving me an estimate and answering multiple questions I had in order to completely understand the quote. On the day of my move Paul, Nick, Grayson and Austin showed up on time and after Paul reviewed all I needed to have moved they got right to work. When I suggested my piano be moved first and then use the two trucks to load one for storage and one for my new home they were readily agreeable.

Daniel and Nate unloaded our uHaul when we moved to Asheville. They were quick, professional and very friendly. My husband and I were very impressed. We will be moving again in a year and would love to request them again. Highly recommend this company. Edit to add a little more than a year later: once again used Asheville Area Movers and once again then knocked it out of the park. They were super careful, super fast and got us in WAY under budget from our quote. Extremely friendly and personable too.

We recently used this moving company for a big move about an hour away, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Our movers, Thomas, Daniel, and Jimmy, were fantastic from start to finish. They showed up on time, were organized, and took their time with the prep work to make sure everything was packed safely. Because of that, the rest of the move went smoothly and efficiently. Nothing was damaged or broken, and they handled all of our belongings with great care.
