Since I started my account the rent went up from $19 a month to $69 a month. That is within a 6 month period. When I received the notification I went to talk to the manager who told me she thought it was a mistake and she would handle it. But she didn't and I just found out about that. I went online to deactive the auto pay but it would not allow me to deactivate it. I also tried to get to the credit card information I had entered but I could not access it to remove it.

I got to the unit to unload 4 truckloads of belongings only to find a lock on my unit and nobody in the office. A sign stated the person was out to lunch. About 10 of us moving waited around for a good 30 mins when she finally showed up and thankfully I managed to get all of my things in right before a huge downpour and storm. The storage is old, service isn’t great, and I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re getting it for free like I did for a few weeks or something.

11 years of good service and now this. Rent raised every few months, late fee processed without my knowledge when my debit card expired (did not let me know until the grace period was over), Calls back from multiple messages spotty and when I did get on the response took 2-5 days. Still not settled but I have had it and am moving out. Not recommending -much better prices nearby.

It’s set up for you to loose your items to auction! If your ever late on a payment they and then happen to miss another payment. They want allow you to make partial payment whatever the amount you’ll have to pay in full payment. Crazy right smh

I've had a storage unit with Monster Storage for almost 2 years now and in that time my rent has gone up by 50%. What seemed like a good deal in the beginning, is now ridiculously over priced.

We are SO impressed with the staff at Monster self storage! I called yesterday, needing a RV storage space close to the airport for today since we had an emergency and needed to leave Asheville quickly. Being that yesterday was the 4th of July (Ceaser Salad Day...), I left a message because they were, of course, closed in observance. I received a call promptly at 8 am from the delightful, Keri, with the great news that they had space as well as a fantastic move in special that we were able to take advantage of.
