Now that I have had time to think about this and calm down, I can give an honest full review. I scheduled Movers Near me LLC 2 weeks in advance. The owner told me they would be there between 9:00am - 10:00am. Which was perfect for me. I waited and waited. No Movers at my home. I decided to call the owner Mike. He said his guys were on their way and they had scheduled another job that morning (AFTER I had already had them booked). So they finally show up at 2:00pm in a budget truck (4-5 hours late).
I really wanted to like these movers. First, I was not delivered services I was promised. One was, I’d have a bed set up that night. Nope. I asked twice if tvs would be set up, the answer was yes, but no when we got there. The movers were 1 to 2.5 hours late every time. My antique headboard was badly damaged. She offered to fix it if I sent it from Raleigh to Asheville. The invoice originally submitted was almost 1000 more than the top end they quoted.

We had a great experience with Movers Near Me NC. They helped us unload a uhual truck and two storage units. The guys were polite and good workers. They were careful and smart with loading and u loading our items. Their help was worth every penny! The owners were very good about communicating with me about their start time and also very accommodating to our needs. They also helped my elderly mom out about a month ago as she moved into a one bedroom.

Great group of guys. Did the job very quickly. Price was fair but a little more than I was hoping to pay. 4 stars cause they weren’t on time. They were about 20 minutes late but not a huge deal. Communication could be better but I would hire them again.

Okay! So I talked to the wife of the one of the movers, she was doing correspondence for the company. She was GREAT! Her communication was peak. And in a timely manner. Clear, concise. And she was transparent as well. I would explain what I wanted, and she would tell me, “just so you’re aware, this and this might be a factor and would push the price up”. I prefer companies to just let me know upfront what to expect.
