Made an appointment for 10 days in the future with Corey. I tried to confirm with them the day before but did not hear back. The next day they messaged me 45 minutes before they were supposed to arrive to ask if they could arrive 2 hours later. It seemed like I didn't have a choice so I went with it. Almost 2 and 1/2 hours later I get a call that they can't make it and ask if they could do it tomorrow due to an emergency.

Corey the owner lied twice about sending someone to come help me move. The first time he forgot to send someone, I had just broke my figure, so I stupidly took a second chance at rescheduling because I couldn't proceed with the move that day myself. The second day we had scheduled he did the same thing. Answered, saying he forgot and that he'd call me right back. This time because I didn't concede to needed help on the day of though, he stopped answering my calls all together.
Sorry we couldn't make it out to you when you needed! Unfortunately we have big jobs through out our day and its very tough to get 1 person out to you for just 1 hour, and not even agreeing to our minimum. Good luck with your finger!
These movers did not show up on move day. They did not return our calls or text messages. We needed to be out of our house the day Cory didn’t show up. We called five movers finally used college hunks who helped us out of this jam Cory, as of this writing, kept the deposit. I am think I may have been scammed. This company is unreliable
He basically didn’t show up for my move. I called him several times and texted and he never answered. I used a different number to call him and just as anticipated, he called that number back. He is yet to call me back about not showing up for my move or contacting me to cancel. I have never reviewed any company but had to post this to hopefully foster some professionalism. I’m now stuck looking for movers for next week. I asked to reschedule my move an he said he could do the next day at 10am.
It's very difficult to reschedule with a one day notice when I'm completely booked for 2 months! Plus if I didn't call in advance I would've showed up for nothing due to lack of communication!! Sorry it didn't work out and thanks for the review!! We definitely appreciate it!!
Set up to have them show up and help me load a uhaul, was told to call him on the way back from the u haul rental and they would meet me. Didn’t answer or call back and I had no help to load the furniture into a u haul I rented and only had the day to get loaded up. College hunks movers was able to help last minute, and were very professional, I would recommend calling them they will actually show up and not leave u hanging with no response.
So things guys just didn’t show up. Then they didn’t respond. As of writing this, they kept our deposit. Several people were let down because of the inability to provide service when needed. Corey, what gives man? Not cool. Will update review if deposit refund occurs.

My partner and I just moved to Asheville and had Asheville Moving Guys come help us unload. Corey responded promptly whenever I had questions and was very friendly. Once they got there, the guys helping us were very accommodating especially regarding which room to place furniture (my GF is of course always right). With their help it turned our move from a potential ordeal to a smooth and efficient couple of hours. Instead of spending the whole day unloading we were able to spend it making the apartment our home.

Professional, courteous and communicative! Patient with my disabled mom and went the extra steps to get things put where we needed them. No damaged boxes or scuffed furniture. Top notch!!!! Call these guys for your move!!!!!

You can't go wrong with these guys. They work fast and furious! Even in the rain! Everything was delivered intact. Nothing broken like my last move. And the final bill came in under estimate!

Corey and his moving company is top notch! We tried to engage Bruce Hensley with Local Guys Moving but they were very unprofessional and they wouldn’t give us an estimate. They just danced around the question of cost trying to pressure us into hiring them on a time and material basis. Fortunately this caused us to look further and we found Corey and Asheville Moving Guys.
