My parents hired this company to move them from an apartment complex in South Kingstown to the sister apartment complex in North Kingstown. The complex was built by the same builder, and the interior had the exact same specs. Once everything was removed from their old apartment and arrived at their new apartment, the crew told my mother they could not get her bed up to the second floor. They didn’t even attempt to try.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. , we asked for compensation for a bedframe and box spring that I had to replace at the 11th hour for $475, because their movers could not move my platform drawers and frame and said it would not fit up our stairwell and they made a half attempt and said it couldn’t be done…. so I got in touch with the manager of the Astro moving company, and asked for compensation and he said it was not their fault.

How does it cost $1,135.00 to move 4 rooms, 7.9 miles down the road a 20 minute drive with three guys and it takes 8 hours? How does this company stay in business charging prices like that? Do yourself a favor don’t get ripped off shop around!
Hi Sarah, I see that Our Sales Consultant provided you a quote last night and we have not moved your household goods. The estimate he provided was not for 8 hours, but 6.5 hours, plus a 1 hour travel fee. Your quote also includes an extra stop on the way to your destination (with 1 flight).

Excellent company. Very efficient and the movers were very professional and packed my items very carefully. They moved me from Virginia to RI. I will recommend them to everyone who is moving.
We had a great experience during our recent move. Nick was our main point of contact for planning, organization, and communication, and he was fantastic to work with. He was responsive, clear, and made sure everything was well coordinated from start to finish, which made the entire process feel seamless. Overall, a smooth and stress-free experience, and I would highly recommend Astro and Nick!
Crew showed up on time and was quick and efficient. This was particularly appreciated because the rates were based on time spent picking up and delivering your new home. I changed my mind a couple times about a room arrangement and they gladly helped without hesitation. Jeff and his crew are outstanding at what they do.

Best moving experience ever! I would highly recommend Astro movers if you are looking to move. Nick Hanley came and did a walk through to see what was being moved. He came up with a very fair estimate. We agreed on a date and they called the day before with a time. They were there in the morning at the time I was told. Three young men came and started the process. I had everything packed and ready to go.
