The experience was dreadful, despite the initially friendly demeanor of the movers. They disassembled furniture haphazardly and were unable to reassemble it. To exacerbate the situation, a missing part required me to return to my old residence twice. The staff even requested that I drive them there to avoid taking the truck back, which I found unprofessional and irresponsible. They spent over an hour searching for the missing part and proceeded to bill me at the hourly rate during that time.

Coutu Bros. moved us on August 19. I have held off on writing a review in hopes my initial thoughts changed. Unfortunately, this experience was the worst I have ever had moving. The damage was extensive. There was damage to a table, couch, desk, freezer, bureau & mirror to name a few. Items were moved on a hand truck with no covers. Boxes I had packed (yes I know Coutu Bros does not take responsibility for boxes they don't pack) were damaged & retaped by the movers. Contents in the boxers were broken.

They totally underestimated my move. They broke so many things I can’t even begin to list them including an antique China cabinet and so many dishes and glasses I can’t even count them. They wanted to give us .05 a pound. We didnt even bother because who keeps broken glass. They also broke the kitchen light in our house we were moving out of, and never even told us. It was a very expensive light and we had to scramble to replace it before the new owners moved in.
You have us mistaken with another mover. We never moved you and our crews never stay out till 1am. Please remove this false review .
Very unsatisfied, we used this moving company, when moving our Granite topped island they chipped the corner of the granite. The head guy took pics and said we would be hearing from them.. we had to keep calling them received the form for the damage. The company then claimed they did not have any photos from the mover that took the . So we had to take photos. Get the form motorized. Only to receive a letter saying they denied the claim.
Horrible service. One mover used my bathroom and stunk it up. Found a wad of packaging tape thrown in bathroom cabinet. Scratched my wood floor. They took 2 - 15 minute breaks at my expense. Took 5 hours for a job that should have been no more than 3 for what they moved. Did too much chit chatting instead of moving. Would have given a 0 if that were an option. Most unprofessional company I have ever used. Would definitely not recommend.

Coutu Bros has been helping our business with a multi stage move project. They have been accommodating and easy to work with through the planning process.
