In their own words
We already had concerns when their moving team came to pack up our furniture as they didn't use much care when packing and moving our things. We specifically instructed your team Not to lift or yank our tables, side tables, and dressers by lifting the tops only, as we were concerned about potential damage. Unfortunately, despite these instructions, several of our items were mishandled during your move. Upon unpacking, we found that 4 out of the 6 tables and dressers had the tops loose or damaged.
We sincerely regret that your family did not have a more positive experience moving with our company. Although we fell short in service, we shared your comments and feedback at our company meeting.
Ashley Dunlap of Atlas Moving is a Con man. He promised an easy move from San Diego to Florida. Nope. He promised to listen to our concerns and get back to us if we had any concerns. Nope. Other issues 1-Items were lost or stolen 2-Poor packing, my salt shaker was not packed correctly and opened up in the box, what a Freaking mess!!! 3-Boxes were opened at their distribution center and moved from one box to another. This was done I imagine to save space on the truck. We did not give permission for this to occur.
We are very sorry to hear about your moving experience with our company. We are taking your comments and concerns very seriously, and again wanted to express our apologies. Per our discussion, please reach out to Judy Fisher at [email removed] for help on submitting a claim.
Having recently utilized Atlas for an interstate move I would not recommend Atlas or their agents for any relocation services due to damaged personal items, lost items and overall poor customer service. Four months after the completion of the move, Atlas continues to dispute the value of damaged items. And the bonus is if you do not have a receipt for the specific items lost/damaged you will not be compensated...just another bonus as to how Atlas doesn't serve it customers best interest.
We are disappointed and sorry to hear about your experience with our company and take your concerns seriously. We encourage you to contact Mira Allen to discuss the damage to your goods. She can be reached at [phone removed]. We apologize again to hear of these concerns.
This was our 8th international move. Our previous 7 moves went without an itch or a broken glass. This time it was terrible. Service by Atlas SD was choking. They planned two days for packing & loading saying they would finish early on the …
I entered into an agreement with Atlas Transfer & Storage Co. that stated they would come to my home, pack up most of my belongings in preparation for an out-of-state move, and store those belongings in their warehouse until I purchased a …

Three days out from our move from San Diego to Florida and we are still searching for essentials which my husband and I meticulously packed and labeled for quick access. The boxes were opened by movers, and items thrown in with others — …

So when i was moving into my new beautiful home in California i saw this company and thought it was promising. When the guys who were mexican, not that it really matters but just to say their race, were moving my stuff into my home, and …

We decided to choose Atlas to move our household goods from CA to FL. Jerilyn talked me into keeping my items stored in San Diego so they could "make sure the delivery is the date you want it", instead of here in Florida. Definitely …
We are extremely sorry that your delivery is delayed, and our team is working to find a resolution. Our customers are very important in our organization, and we have not taken your situation lightly.

In their own words
Amazing team! Traci was incredibly responsive and thorough in setting up my cross country move! The packing team was prepared and thorough and took great care in making sure everting was padded and packed with care. Matt (driver) and the loading team were equally amazing. On time, care taken to protect my home and floors and worked their tails off to load up! Matt continued to communicate as my belongings made it cross country and let me know where he was and when my household would be delivered.
Thank you so much Ed for taking the time to share about your moving experience with Matt and Traci on our team. We greatly appreciate the feedback, and thank you for your business. Please let us know if we can ever be of future help for any of your moving or storage needs.
Hector Ortiz, Enrique, Ronaldo, and Oscar turned what is usually a stressful, chaotic mess into a smooth, almost suspiciously easy experience. They packed everything with insane attention to detail — like each item had personal meaning to them — and loaded the truck with the precision of a high-level Tetris championship. Fast, efficient, meticulous, and genuinely professional. No wasted time, no careless handling, no “oops” moments. Just teamwork, skill, and a very impressive work ethic.
Thank you for the extremely detailed and 5-star review of your positive moving experience with Hector and his team. They take great pride in their work and it definitely shows! Please do not hesitate to let us know if we can ever assist with any future moving or storage needs.
Our experience with Allied has been incredible. We received white glove treatment, from our initial contact with Alex Hunter and Wendy Davidson, who patiently answered all my questions, to our pack and load day (all round incredible) lead contact, Hector Ortiz. Our home was packed with such care and professionalism. The entire team, Enrique, Ronaldo, and Mark, with Hector worked together like a finely choreographed dance - strong performance, seemingly effortless .
Thank you Nicole for the 5-star review - we are happy to hear that all went well with your international move. We appreciate your positive feedback and plan to share your notes with our team at our monthly meeting. Thank you for the support of our team and business!
We had a great experience so far! Hector and Enrique came and packed all of our things in about half a day. This will be our 5th cross country move and I’d say it was our best packing experience yet. Everything was packed efficiently but carefully, even individual heels were wrapped so they don’t get damaged. Lamps got their own special boxes, as did mirrors. Both gentlemen were polite and cheerful, truly a pleasure to have over. I feel very confident all our things will arrive at our new home unscathed.
Thank you for taking the time to share about your positive moving experience with our team and company. We greatly appreciate and thank you for your business!
