I really want to minus a star as Pure does not deserve any thing but 0 This moving experienc was the worst experience that I have ever incurred. As a designer , I have been moving and installing for over 30 years. This company, Pure, lied, held us captive and charged 3 times the estimated cost. Jason, the person who quoted a 1 bedroom apt. was only anxious to earn his pay with no consideration for my son moving across county.

We used Pure Moving to move locally in LA last year and did not have a good experience with them. First of all, do not believe all the good reviews. Yes, they did a decent job but some of our good quality furniture was scratched. We asked for 4 men but 2 of the guys disappeared for an hour or so which caused the move take longer than initially planned. The crew was entirely Russian and 2 of the men did not speak English which made communications very difficult.

I do not recommend them 1. They have a very small truck and it takes hours for them to get your items to fit in their truck. You will be the one paying for those extra hours. 2. They charge double the time for transportation. (If it takes one hour for them to go from one location to another, they will charge you for two hours worth of time) We went with our own car and left our original apartment at the same time but it took them twice as long to arrive at our new place.

Was recommended by a very influential friend, so I went with them. Enjoyed the booking process and the people I talked to beforehand. I asked for three men one specifically to take apart a bit large piece of furniture while the others were moving the boxes out. They came told them what I wanted. They said they would take apart the furniture after they got the boxes out I said no that’s not why I booked three people.

The services provided were wholly deficient and fell egregiously below any reasonable standard of care or professional conduct expected in the moving industry. The relocation of a 625-square-foot, one-bedroom apartment required approximately eight (8) hours to complete, an objectively excessive and unjustifiable duration under normal conditions.

I expected quality service from these movers according to their favorable reviews; however, I was unimpressed. The two movers proceeded leisurely with the relocation of my few belongings. I did not take my bed or refrigerator with me. The largest item I brought with me was a couch and the smallest items were boxes. I am perplexed as to why the person on the phone asked how many bedrooms I am relocating my belongings to. I even communicated that I am not taking my bed and the refrigerator.

To start they arrived and surveyed the contents of the house and decided to change our planned 2 day move into a 1 day, stating they felt they could get it all done in one day as they had another job the next day. While signing the paperwork later that evening the main guy remarked he was happy that they could now have a day off tomorrow.

I’ve used Pure Movers three times over the last few years and had great experiences each time — reliable movers, fair prices, and no issues. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was completely different. For this fourth move, involving the same one-bedroom apartment’s worth of possessions and the exact same distance as my previous move, they suddenly claimed I needed six movers instead of three, even though three movers handled the exact same items perfectly well last time.
