Extremely Disappointing Interstate Moving Experience We hired Republic Moving & Storage for our move from San Diego to Las Vegas based in large part on the assurances we received before choosing them. Unfortunately, our actual experience was very different from the level of service that was represented to us. We paid for our move as agreed, but experienced poor communication, careless handling of our belongings, damage to multiple items, and damage to our Pilates reformer.
My husband had a pre-move conversation on the phone with the representative named Stacy. She was extremely rude and condescending to him. They asked us how many boxes WE think we need instead of doing any sort of visual survey and said they will email us. Not a good impression so far. It is unfortunate we have to deal with this type of customer service as a military family. We will be contacting the transportation office to see more options for our move.
So first, the workers work ethic was not too bad, could have been better. One showed up smelling like alcohol but I let it go because they were unloading at a decent rate. Second, they failed unpack 90% of the boxes and left a giant pile for me to clean up. When I requested them to pick up the boxes the failed to do so. Towards the end they weren't trained on the documents needing to be signed and ended up having to resign at a later date. Wouldn't recommend!
Updated review to a lot of issues in delivery. Not all items were wrapped with care. Took apart recliner couches instead of keeping in easier pieces to put together on back end. No labeling of couches. Cut ends on pickup end and made it difficult for delivery to end to assemble.

They arrived on time, worked seamlessly together, and handled all of our household goods with care. This trio made this part of a stressful PCS feel more manageable. They were respectful, friendly, and took the time to ensure everything was packed properly, clearly labeled, and accounted for.

Republic and their representatives did amazing! A special shout out to Jennifer, Pete, Kevin and Gustavo. They did everything by the book and with integrity. This made navigating the inventory very easy. I did make the mistake of not checking the house over with them to look for damage. There were small scrapes along the walls down the stairs and I had already signed the paperwork that states there was no damage so I will most likely eat that cost.

The crew leader, Casey, and his entire team were absolute rockstars. Moving is usually incredibly stressful, but this crew was so friendly, helpful, and genuinely hilarious that they actually made the day fun. Honestly, if I could give them a raise myself, I would! Don't let the laughs fool you, though—these guys mean business.
