So rude. Couldn't assist me because she couldn't even be kind through the first part of the conversation. I won't pay twice the price to have a storage there. Especially if you're not even going to try and be a decent customer service person.

Could not believe how much of my possessions were missing when I opened the unit. Tools, musical gear, kitchen utensils, everything. It was like someone came in and just took whatever they wanted. Would not trust l them with a nickel.

My husband and I came to get some stuff out of storage and came to see a gentleman stuck inside the gate and his family trying to get him out. They put in their code, it didn’t work. We put in our code, it didn’t work. Multiple people who were in the same place we are in, put in their codes too and it didn’t not work. We tried calling the emergency line for Avid Storage and guess what? Not a single person picked up. There aren’t any other numbers to call to help if something like this were to happen.
So, I gave a 5 star review 3 months ago, when I signed up, because the manager was great, the facility is nice, and it was all good. I rented my unit for $106/month, which was on the higher end of reasonable for a unit. Initially, I was told rent will go up later, typically after 6 months or so…but nothing drastic. I received a card from Extra Space warning me- after 3 months, that the rate would be increasing to $186/month- an increase of 76%. Not cool.

When I initially got my storage unit over a year ago I had the promotion price of 75$. Then after a few months 120+. Called and said that’s not feasible. Fast forward to today I get noticed of a 38% price increase. 113$ to 157$. Are you kidding me. Think twice before you rent from here. This wasn’t as bad years ago when my parents rented a unit for multiple years. It’s a shame. Staff was friendly and the place is clean. But I’m not supporting a nearly 40% increase when the street value for my unit is 110.

I’ve been renting here since 2022 or 2023, before it was Avid storage , in that time my rate is on the way to doubling. I went from paying $120 to now paying $180. They give brand new customers breaks on rent while jacking up prices for long time customers. As soon as I can I’m getting a U-Haul and ditching this shitty place.
It's hard to want to give more than one star when they advertise in multiple locations that the first month is free, but they charged me for my first month and won't credit my account. I find that as false advertising and a way to swindle you into having storage with them over other storage facilities.

Beware of drastic price increases with time. We bought a storage for 214 a month, raised to 224 and now raised to 270 a month! For that much money a month I would at least hope my stuff would be protected from dirt! Dont waste your time here,

They were efficient and responsive when I needed quick answers and—huge plus—offered to help coordinate with my movers so arrival day would be seamless. Excellent experience all around. This has been a pleasant experience from research to store. Once I put in a request online for a unit I was quickly contacted for more information as to what I was seeking and Melissa was very attentive to my needs and concerns. Once I arrived to the facility I was warmly greeted and was promptly helped in finding exactly what I was looking for! They’re a great staff and a clean property! I’m so glad to have given them my business and highly recommend them to others!

I have had no difficulties in storing my possessions in the last 4 years at Avid storage. I do have to keep in mind that my unit was not climate controlled so the winds in West Texas got dust everywhere so carefully cover your items when renting a unit. My unit also increased in its monthly price from $189.00 to over $400.00 until we moved out in July and insurance was also added as mandatory.
