Showed up over an hour late with no notification they would be late. Took detour on way to new place to drop off one of the guys saying he had an emergency but yet he showed up at our new place in personal vehicle. Left trash at our old apartment for us to clean up. Dropped freezer and damaged our floor at new place. Damaged our washing machine. We thought they had just damaged the door boot gasket that is in the pictures, well the repair guys just left out house and our washer was dropped from a high position.
WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER! This company has MANY hidden fees. They were at my house "Packing" for 6 hours and it was $2900.00 He charged me over $496 to drive 35 minutes out and back. RIDICULOUS !! This was all for packing ONLY nothing got moved. They are very difficult to communicate with...not answering phones etc. DO NOT USE. They are a scam! I HIGHLY recommend Baker Moving & Supplies!!!
the staff is unprofessional and they just hire just anyone to take care of peoples valuables, i WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, thing will be stolen from you and terrible management at this establishment
Moving is stressful. But Eddie makes the entire process so smooth and easy. He is flexible, accommodating and answers every single question. His team showed up exactly when we expected them and were excellent communicators throughout the entire process. Highly recommend. Unfortunately, I have to update my review. I expect damages during moves. It’s just part of it. Every other moving company I have worked with has resolved these issues quickly by fixing or paying for damages.
I hate giving bad reviews like this but I do it to alert others so they don’t make the same mistake I made. My realtor recommended this moving company so I trusted them. My first mistake. Eddie quoted me $2,500 to move my things from CC to Houston area. The price estimator guy Eddie sent over said, “3 hours for 3 guys, no problems, one truck”. Day of move out they brought two trucks. I wondered why? They used all of first truck and 25% of second 26’ truck.
The manager (Eddie) and/or owner miss quoted me. He gave me a quote if $120 an hour, when the guys were done in less than hour I was given a price of. $360. I spoke to Eddie on the phone and he asked that I pay &240 instead since he did give a full price breakdown to me he spoke with me prior. I ended up paying $220. I find it unfair for them to miss quote then expect you to make a deal on the phone of what to pay if it was their mistake. Beware of untold fees.
I hired the movers because I’m a senior I was not there when they packed my stuff. When my items arrived they had put my tv face down flat on the floor put mattress on top of it then packed boxes all top of mattress.. seriously 😳 I’m very angry 😡 my brand new tv is busted to pieces. What did they think was going to happen when you put a tv underneath a mattress then put heavy boxes on top of a mattress. Oh wait they were not thinking. All my stuff was falling when unpacking..
It’s unfortunate that businesses like this one can really screw up everyone’s plans/day. Thank you for confirming me and scheduling someone else on top of my move . Now I’m left with the problem. You guys are not professionals !!

We recently had the pleasure of using Baker Moving for our move from Texas to Missouri, and we can't express enough how impressed we were with their service. From start to finish, they exceeded our expectations. First and foremost, Eddie and the team were incredibly professional and courteous. They arrived on time and handled our belongings with care. Each member of the crew was friendly and respectful. The entire process was virtually seamless, thanks to their efficient and organized approach.
Bakers moving was fast & reliable. They moved my entire 1 bedroom apartment in a very timely manner and for such a good price!
My niece referred me to Baker, and I'm glad she did. When I called them to get some questions answered and get pricing (which is very reasonable), Eddie was very helpful and answered everything satisfactorily. On the date of the move, Santos, Daniel, and Isaac showed up, ready to work. They were very professional, courteous, and did everything right with our stuff, even offering service above and beyond what I would consider the normal services from a moving company.
As a military family, we moved all over the world and have had experiences with over 35 movers and can honestly say… Baker Moving is the best. We were moving all our earthly possessions from a couple of storage units where our stuff had been for 18 months to a new home. Dylan, Carlos and Mark arrived to move us on time and worked quickly and efficiently. They had moving supplies ready and were able to re-do some of the furniture packing that was not done correctly on our move to the storage unit.
