In their own words
My experience was absolutely horrible. I had an appointment today scheduled 3 weeks ago for times between 10-1. They called at 11 asking to reschedule for Monday. In which i can't i work full time. They said they then would be there by 3. Well 3 came ands went. I asked them when they'd be there then they said 430-5 no later. Well It is going on 6 o clock and no one has showed up. They kept pushing the time back everytime I asked when they were coming out. I just had to cancel them even coming out today.
Beware. We had an ok experience overall to begin with, where happy enough with the service, even gave them a tip until about a day or so after when I realized a couple of important and very sentimental items of my JEWELRY we're gone!! Nothing I can do without proof and I am sure not all movers are dishonest, but one of them was, and left me in tears. In the move they only broke one decorative item but it had not much value, but after about a week I started seeing nicks on various furniture items.
They canceled the job on moving day with no call or explanation and did not follow up to give any explanations. The items for them to move were ready to go. It created a terrible inconvenience. Extremely unprofessional behavior.

Completely blew off our appointment. Argued on the phone that the knocked and no one answered, which is weird because we've been sitting here for over an hour waiting for them to show up. Man on the phone said they went home for the weekend.
I might consider changing this post if they ever show up!!... they moved the time on us and they are an hour and a half late for the time "they wanted"... no show at this point!!!!... Ask me if I will use them again....NO!!!! …

In their own words
Guys showed up on time, had a look at the items to be moved and got right to work. They took extra care to be extra careful with the antiques that my grandmother left me. They wrapped most everything with blankets and had their own system for staging and loading. The guys got to the destination if good time and were very efficient in the offload. The guys checked 3 times to make sure everything was done that I wanted. Overly impressed with Bay Area Movers ! I would not hesitate to use them again.

Bay Area Movers came highly rated. They did an awesome job. Super friendly but efficient at the same time. Did a great job of protecting my belongings and walls. Would use them again but I really hope I don’t move for a while 🤣. Until then, I’ll be putting their name out there for people needing movers. …

Wow! 🤩 We had an awesome team and service! They were prompt, detailed oriented, and made sure to confirm what items went, which ones stayed etc. The main reason we went with Bay Area is because we had a ton of calls from other moving services but they were the ONLY ones that made an appointment to come to our house and properly evaluate the project. Nicely done! We highly recommend them and would use them again in a moment. They packed one day and moved the next.
Absolutely the best, most professional group of men there is. Tyler, Cisco, Juan, Nick and others are the best. You can't go wrong hiring these guys for your next move. They moved us from La Marque TX to Athens TX without a hitch. Can't say enough good about Bay Area Movers.
