In their own words
Recently moved from Kentucky to Louisiana, I made a one way rental for a 6x12 trailer while I was in Kentucky (duh) and it gave me the option to choose where I wanted to drop off in my area in Louisiana. This place was listed as a “24 hour drop off” so naturally I picked this one incase I needed the extra time unpacking I could drop off the trailer after hours. I’ve done that before at different locations!
The lady thats over these facilities is very disrespectful and money hungry i was getting my things out the storage because we was vacating the premises and she came closed my storage unit while i was moving the remainder of my items and locked it and told me yall vacating the premises so you have to go or pay to stay😡 …
Yes, unfortunately to use our facilities in any way, one is expected to pay for the service. We would love to be able to keep the lights on and doors open and also give free service to our community, but we cannot unfortunately. We appreciate your business. Have a blessed day!
Reserved a 26' Uhaul, called ahead to make sure everything was good. Went to get the truck after hours since I had the app to do a remote pickup. The wrong key was in the back of the truck for that vehicle. Couldn't get ahold of anybody …

I had an excellent experience renting at the Bayou Downtown U-Haul. Bryan provided impeccable customer service and made us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. The truck was spotless, very well maintained, and everything worked perfectly. Even the add-ons—which I’ve had issues with at other locations in the past—were all available and in great condition. Bryan had already prepared the blankets and the dolly I rented, neatly set up inside the truck, which saved me time and effort.
