Similar to others, damaged items, changes in dates and loss of items. A large leather La-Z-Boy couch (current value close to $8000) was "lost" as well as two front legs to a La-Z-Boy recliner. They said they would find replacements and did very little to help in that regard. We did hours of research to find what we needed but the couch was still no where near what they had "lost". The legs to the chair cost several hundred dollars and still don't exactly match our other furniture.

We hired Bedwell Moving systems to move us from Ontario to New Brunswick in April. We thought that we were hiring a reputable company, as they were the brokers for North American Van lines, also a reputable company we thought!! The move was scheduled for June 23rd. They arrived the day of our move with a small 26 foot cube Van, not the Van lines we were expecting. . It was a tight fit, but luckily all our belongings fit into the van.
We just completed two moves, one local and one out town, with Bedwell and came away very unhappy customers. First off, the crews doing the work were perfectly fine. Our troubles arose when we had to deal with the office person. We understand that stuff breaks during moves but we had all sorts of issues with the billing and damage to our property that were not adequately addressed. We paid for watching the lead driver train one of the young guys on how to back the truck into our driveway.

I wanted to share our recent experience with Bedwell Moving in hopes of saving another family undue stress! We had hired them 2 months ago - I looked into them, they were recommended by several people across several community groups - including actual friends who had used them. Also good ratings in various places. Got a detailed estimate from an itemized list that I provided. Agreed to the list, got a signed confirmation letter from the company.
I'm highly disappointed in the outcome of the move. While the movers arrived on time and were fairly quick, be prepared for damages. The movers had very little care. They damaged the house we were moving out of and the brand new house that we were moving into. They caused $5000 in property damage, while also ruining our outdoor dining table and breaking a file. The guy who put together our master bed missed a few screwed, we fell through the bed one night. They refused to act upon these claims.

Put a few items in storage due to staging the house and they charged me for 4 10x10 units which all fit in my dining room which is 10x15 so much for free storage with moving and they brought the items back to my house we only noticed the damage when we hired professional movers and noticed the damage they made to the fireplace unit, tv unit and dining room table so not use this company if you like your stuff

Thank you for your feedback. A lot was learned back in 2021 during a unique time period. New procedures and policies have been implemented by North American Van Lines (who we are an agent for) to ensure extra steps are taken to reduce and avoid similar situations across the network.

This is the second time I have had the pleasure of moving with this company and its staff, both office and on the truck this year. They are more than accommodating after needing to change moving date a few times. They also picked up a consignment piece of furniture to include in the move. I would highly recommend Bedwell movers. Travis Bedwell was so professional, detailed and easy to deal with. Hailey in the office was very helpful as well. The three movers moved us out and into our new home two hours north so efficiently and without a hitch! Very impressed!
