The rating breakdown
4 of the 31 ratings in Google’s published star breakdown for Bekins Moving & Storage are one or two star.
Worked out from 31 ratings. That is enough to publish but few enough that one more review moves it noticeably, so read it as a hint rather than a measurement.

Horrible, Horrible Movers! They love to damaged your furniture and then have the audacity to blame you for all the damaged! They have Horrible customer service, and thier movers are careless! Will never use them again, nor recommend them to anyone! Edit: Bekins.....How fantastic! You can't even keep your customers straight! You never offer me anything! This just shows how horrible you truthly are.
Bekins does NOT love to damage furniture. Bekins never blamed you for your damaged furniture. These statements are simply untrue. We pride ourselves in exceptional customer service, and experienced crews that have faithfully served Canadians for 100 years!
Using this moving company is a nightmare! I made an appointment with this company in September to help me move a few large items, such as piano and sofa, at 2 p.m. at the end of the month. But at 7 a.m. on the day we agreed on, I just received an email from them saying that one of the drivers was injured and couldn't go to work , so they have to cancel the booking, cannot help me to move. But on this day, I had to move out of the old house. In such a short time, I couldn't find a moving company again.
Terrible customer service! I told her everyone works and the very latest to deliver would be good ‘not going to happen’ ‘well so do my guys’ online it says they are open until 5 but ‘her guys’ are done by 3-3:30 the latest. Been waiting over a week now for my fridge.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

Super friendly and nice staff from the receptionist that phoned me to book a drop off time for my washer and dryer . As well the delivery drivers both were great and professional , went through everything with me from opening the items checking for any damage . Moving everything to my laundry room fast and accurate no issues at all will definitely be using them again .
I’ve used this moving company twice now, once to deliver a fridge I purchased locally, and again for a Marketplace find. Both experiences were seamless from start to finish. The movers took great care in my home, handled everything with care, and communication was excellent throughout. Trustworthy, reliable, and professional. I’ll absolutely be using them again!
I want to thank Phil and Jordan once again for their professionalism and dedication with helping me Unload my container into my new home. You guys worked so hard and we’re so careful with everything. All the best to you both and yours! Marni L
We had Bekins deliver our fridge. They came on time and were very professional men. They were polite and provided great delivery service. Thanks again!
