Beltmann Relocation Group 29 October 2019 We have been asked to give feedback to you about our recent move from Kansas City, MO to Columbus, OH and I am most happy to do so----although it will not be a positive review. Our recent move was the sixth cross-country move and our first with Beltmann and North American. It will most definitely be the last time we use either company.
Use any company except this one. I made the mistake of hiring Beltmann/North American Van Lines to move my family’s belongings from the Kansas City area, to the Phoenix area. Beltmann sent a very shady crew of loaders in to my home on loading day. A couple of them reeked of pot, but I was out of time and couldn’t afford to kick them out and start over with a new company. These jokers were not careful with anything as they were removing boxes and furniture from my house and loading them on the truck.
I was referred to Beltmann Group by a family member whose job regularly uses them for shipping appliances. I expected a better experience and unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The process starts with North American Van Lines, who then sends you to Beltmann Group. I had to explain my move in detail to North American and then repeat all of the same information again to Beltmann.
I have used Beltmann Relocation Group a couple times in the past, spending thousands of dollars with them, but my most recent experience has been deeply disappointing. During my recent move, one of their employees unplugged a medical freezer containing $850 worth of critical medical products. Unfortunately, the freezer wasn’t plugged back in, causing the products to spoil. I understand that accidents happen, and I even offered to absorb half of the cost as a compromise.

One star. When your household goods are delivered DO NOT just sign the paperwork regardless of assurances that everything is there. While it might take hours go thru every item to ensure it's been delivered. As Ronald Reagan said "trust but verify". I wrote to company president Brett Battina at the Roseville office on 9/27/2025 and haven't received a reply.
While they made the move easy, and their crew did a fantastic job, the administration team is a total nightmare. I was originally charged for a “transfer” due to my location, however the moving team was exceptional and was able to get the truck to my house. With this, the onsite crew told me I would get a refund for the transfer (around $1500). It’s been 4 months. And an incredible number of unreturned calls, and I still am out the transfer fee I was promised a refund for. Be weary of the admin side.
Despite multiple promises to our admin and residences, Beltmann did not meet their obligations. The needs were reviewed on 3 occasions with Beltmann assuring all needs. They did not provide the promised trucks and crews on the day of the …
