This was my experience: Moved from MD--->NC at the beginning of December, 2024. Received multiple bids and decided on Bill & Beltway as they offered the best price in addition to seeing all of the recent stellar reviews. Reasons for 2 stars: -brought a small truck to a big job---all our stuff didn't fit (this was after we paid for a packing day the day before the move, so, they knew how much stuff we had) -this caused a schedule delay -delay caused undue stress that could have been avoided -lost items (limited in…

I have never written a negative review before, only positive ones; unfortunately, this is the one exception. TEN MONTHS after the move, I am still waiting for resolution to all the damage they caused. They refuse to return emails, texts, or voicemails. Beltway Movers wants to play games; the last thing you want is to play games when moving. There is THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in damages due to negligence and mishandling of my belongings that they were entrusted with.
2024 SENIORS (especially) BEWARE!!! We hired this company to move us from Potomac to WV and lost multiple extremely valuable items. After assurance by Bill, we did not get insurance. After being quoted $5-6,500, (and then charged $8,000+), then the sad (and perplexing) loss of a valuable rug as well as other items, it is a major disappointment to the beginning of our retirement.

I used Beltway movers as I have in the past. I will admit the movers got the job done within the estimate time and cost provided. The problem was there was damaged to 1 piece of furniture and several areas of my newly built home. I moved in September and am still trying to resolve the cost of the repairs and what they want to offer. There is one specific item they want to exclude, but I provided the quote and pictures of that damage. I will not use them again.
The people that moved us to our new apartment broke our TV broke and 2 beds. When we brought it up to there attention all they did was give us attitude and told us that there supervisor was gonna be in contact with us but 4 months later they haven't contected us back. Worse movers ever.
Mr Delgado we are sorry you has this experience, but you do not show up anywhere in our system as a customer. Customers can file a claim anytime directly on our website. In any case, please reach out to our office and speak with customer service to see if we can assist you in any way.
Overall experience was not great. Five people showed versus four. Estimate of 6-7 hours turned into 10 hours. All items were not properly labeled. A piece of home theater equipment is not in the box with the other equipment and cannot be located. Probably would not use again.

They arrived on time, carefully wrapped everything to ensure nothing was damaged, and handled the move with care. My wife and I relocated from MD to SC and priced out several movers to trust with 29 years of possessions and 2 motorcycles. Bill came and provided us a quote that others couldn't match. On moving day (a Thursday) Chris pulled up in front of our home in a large tractor trailer at 0930. As he awaited the others, we met and discussed how the day would proceed. Shortly after, Chuck, Andre, and Dee arrived. We performed a walkthrough of our home, and showed them what was going and what would stay.

Just wanted to share the experiences we had with Beltway Movers and Storage. We have done two long distance moves with this company and would highly recommend them to anyone considering a local or long distance move. The first experience was when our daughter moved to Wilmington, North Carolina. With this being the first time we had used a moving company, we didn't know how the process worked.

Beltway Movers are rock stars! My husband and I are in our mid-60s and had moved many times in our lives, and never had a really good experience ... until now! We hired Beltway to pack and move our 5 BR home, and I was very picky about how things were packed and organized (we had to get unpacked very quickly at the new home, so we had to easily find things in boxes).
Brian Brownlee has been caring for Beltway customers for many years. Sounds like you benefited from his experience and leadership as well as his calm and helpful manner.
