Think twice before you use BERNARDO MOVING – 10895 Thommint road, suite E, San Diego, CA 92127. Dave Price the estimator for Bernardo is a like-able guy and even though I stated many times that this or that was heavy he underestimated my load by over a thousand pounds and resulted in me being billed more than a thousand dollars more than his guaranteed estimate.

Positive: - They showed up on time. Negatives: - Only sent one mover. ---When the gentleman arrived to my apartment, I asked if his partner would be joining him. He responded, "he is it" and that "he is all he needs" which proved to be terribly false. Why? (1) it took him 9 hours to pack and load a one bedroom apartment. (2) some items were heavy in which he looked to me to assist him (why am I moving things when I paid for moving services?) - The mover had no intention on packing/wrapping all of my items.

We had a terrible experience moving with Bernardo Moving. Several attempts to get them to move a refrigerator into our home that I needed to disassemble myself for them to even attempt. Then they showed up late and left without even trying. Always fun to move into your new home without having a working refrigerator!! David Price came out to the house and said he would give us a discount for the hassle (after we requested it) and of course that never happened. So basically this company cost us a new refrigerator.

I recently made the move from San Diego to Natick. The pickup from San Diego itself was hassle free. The movers arrived on time and quickly inventoried all my household goods and loaded them onto a truck. I had already packed and moved all my goods to a storage unit, so it was fairly smooth sailing there. The movers finished picking up everything and weighing it in less than 2 hours.

This moving company is the worst!!! Beware!! Damaged many of my items Missing many items large and small. Sent truck (s) both too small to fit everything. Left many of my things behind because it wouldn’t fit. Refused to have the rest of my things picked up or shipped to me. My move was approximately 10 hours away. Did not take any responsibility for all the damage they caused or acknowledged items that were stolen or completely damaged they didn’t want me to see.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME WITH THESE PEOPLE. Raquel is probably THE MOST disrespectful, rude, and condescending person I’ve ever interacted with in a customer service environment. As soon as they lock you into a contract, they will treat you just the same because they know at that point, they already have your money, so you have to deal with however they treat you. The only reason this business is even surviving is because they offer cheap contracts with military moves but they treat those clients even worse.

Unprofessional people. They confirmed an estimator to appear at our home for a corporate relo move. We cancelled key appointments and rearranged our schedule to accommodate their estimator. Their estimator didn’t show. I called company to ask when estimator would arrive and was told that they made a scheduling error and couldn’t have someone there for until 25 hours later. They inconvenienced us at a time of great stress. If they can’t get an estimate right, they can’t be trusted with a move. Buyer beware.

We did a military move with this company, they first went to the storage facility, rushing and broke a fishing rod and a part of something for brewing beer- Jeffrey was very defensive and rude about it, his attitude was very unprofessional and unpleasant, he also said he was the boss but when I called the company it was different story. Wouldn’t use them again.
