Beware! Beware of this company and the reviews you read. This is a reckless and unethical company. We booked our out of state move and car transport with Best Moving. What you are not told by this company is that they don’t do all the jobs themselves- they broker out their jobs by putting them into a “pool” that are then picked up by other moving companies. So, everything you have agreed to, signed for and paid is now at the mercy of the new company that has picked up your job.

This was a horrific move for Rosemary Smith from Florida to Iowa. Rosemary Smith is legally blind and I am her sister trying to help her with this move. Everything that the saleslady Danielle told Rosemary was absolutely false. Her special magnifying glass WAS NOT PACKED (she paid $345.00 extra for that). Then the moving men charged her even more extra $ for them to pack it so she would have "eyes" when she got to Iowa. Danielle NEVER told us that the table lamps had to be packed - they were left behind.
We apologize your relocation didn’t go as planned, all items were to be packed by owner prior to moving as agreed per contract with Allied Van.
Don't use this firm. They can't perform and deflect the cause to Allied. No help at all. And Allied is offering all of $50.00 per day delay when you are spending hundreds of dollars a day for temporary housing. Disgusting

They were an awful moving experience. They moved us from Naples to Cape Haze Fl and stored our furniture for 3 weeks. We specifically asked if they had experience in moving baby grand pianos and were assured yes. It has been 8 months since the move, and we are noticing more and more damage each month. The piano has a huge scratch across the top, the guest bedroom bed frame was not completely put together and attached....imagine the look on our guests faces when the entire bed fell on the floor...our pedistal…
Unfortunate situation, customer never called or emailed to request repairs nor express her dissatisfaction with her move. We apologize for your dissatisfaction regarding your July 17 2017 relocation, after reviewing your file June storage was prorated and July storage billed for the month.
We booked with Allied and not once did we see the company name or hear it mentioned. The supposedly hired and trained professional movers were day labor guys who move things. They underestimated how many items we had and literally pushed and shoved things to fit even though they said they would need to get a 2nd truck. Dirt bike had front fender bent, daughters bed set was broken and needs to be replaced, couch leg broke, and I’m sure we will find more.
Don't even think about using this company. Just get a Uhaul and do it yourself. No one ever came to inspect my stuff and the movers had no idea about any of the items. I ended up shoving stuff in my car last minute and I even left things behind because the movers would not take it. I was told(and paid for) a crating service for my TVs that didn't happen. I was given my money back but the TVs showed up damaged. There was water damage to my totes, boxes, and musical equipment.

We had several items damaged on our move and they rapped them and it took 10 days to get the truck to our new home. Many of the items can't be replaced.

Do not hire help from this place the help will not show and the office doesn't care even when stood up they won't even try to get someone else

We moved cross country during the height of the pandemic, needing somethings delivered immediately, other things stored until our new home was ready. The team at Best Moving and Storage was absolutely first rate and a fair price. They coordinated with a local mover to do the packing, crating and pickup, including our car and executed flawlessly with our various deliveries here in Naples. They readily handled all our changes dates and questions in our complex move.

Danielle was the consummate professional and extraordinarily knowledgeable. She really took her time in educating me so if I the company that was to pay for our relocation asked for multiple quotes, we knew how to ensure that we were getting apples to apples quotes. She took her time and I didn't feel rushed. We even had some unique circumstances with a kayak trailer and needing an enclosed car carrier to transport one of our cars and she did the due diligence to determine an additional estimate.

This is a review of the packers that we had this morning - Monique (crew leader) and Andrea. Both women were extremely courteous and professional. There was a miscommunication during scheduling and their expection of what needed to be packed, and the reality of what actually needed to be done unfortunately did not match. Monique took it totally in stride and assured us that she would do everything possible to complete the packing job in the unexpectedly shortened amount of time available.
