We're sorry to see your negative review. I think bringing some context to the move will give others an idea of why some of the things happened on your move. First off the customer booked 4 movers for 3 hours on a Saturday.
You are essentially paying $45/hr to have young men assist you with your move. I spoke at length with the manager prior to scheduling that I needed workers to disassemble & reassemble furniture for a local move. The two young gentlemen that arrived were very nice, but arrived with no tools and no trolly or cart to move the items. I had to find a neighbor to borrow some tools and only one of the helpers could work on taking apart the furniture while the other watched.

We were extremely disappointed with a recent move. They were the cheapest estimate and we found out why. Not all movers arrived at the scheduled time. 2 of the movers had to leave early for college study groups. This caused the move to take 2 days instead of the scheduled one day move. They didn't wrap and protect the furniture when loading. They didn't cover the mattresses. Their name big boys describes their service. The packed U-Haul looked like "boys" packed it.

They didn’t follow loading instructions and caused damage to a lot of my property. Were told to wrap king size mattress with furniture blankets and plastic wrap, didn’t do it and stained mattress, 10 year warranty is now void. Told to remove back rest off couches, didn’t do it and shoved sectional into ubox container, bent frame on one sectional. Didn’t pay attention to boxes labeled fragile and put heavy boxes on top of fragile boxes; majority of my dishes and cups are shattered.
Worst company ever! They have no idea how to load a truck. They are not responsive to questions or concerns. My sister had to pay another moving company to fit the items the "Big Boys" said they couldn't fit in the truck. The company she hired to unload said it was the worst packing job they had ever seen, and my sister had been ripped off Big Boy Movers, you suck! The response to my post by Big Boy Movers is so disingenuous, I can't believe it!

Just like every other company and person, we're not perfect and will take a 1-star review when it's merited but this is not the one. Customer booked us through a third party; 2 movers for 2 hours.

We don't buy reviews, not really sure how that would work. Customer had a 52' trailer and booked 3 movers for 4 hours. The trailer didn't have a ramp (industry average to unload a 52' trailer is 15.5 man hours, BBM did it in 13 without a ramp). The workers had to hand down every object.

We were sorry to see your review. As a company we estimate how long a move will take based on the size of your home and the contents conveyed to us in a pre-booking call. We also let the customer ultimately choose how many workers and how many hours they want to book.

They showed up on time and worked quickly and efficiently. Got my whole storage shed emptied and into my house within 3 hours with 4 men. If they play the game of tetris as well as they loaded the moving van, then they good tetris players! Would recommend them to anyone who is considering using professional movers.
