I do not recommend Big Burns Moving LLC. Our move was originally scheduled for 12:00–2:00 PM. Around 3:00 PM, we were told they would probably be there in another hour and a half. Then, at 4:00 PM, they called to say they would not be coming at all and asked to reschedule for 12:00 PM the following day. At that time, they offered a $50 discount for having to reschedule, which we appreciated and accepted in good faith. My mother was ready at noon the next day as agreed.
Unfortunately we had a employee get hurt the day of and yes we offered discount and to come back next day as schedule was full we tried to speed up the process we kept in touch with them through out the day letting them know it was going to … More
I will NEVER use the people again.....the 2 drivers was 2 hours late.....then the driver had the nerve to say he was going to stop at the gas station while my personal items was on back of the truck.... ABSOLUTELY NOT !!! If you know you have a move coming up they should already have fuel in the truck before arrive to your customers this also makes the bill higher because they charge by the hour...then the driver tried to say 3 hour minimum but I already spoke to the owner he gave me 2 hour 2.30 and 3 hour…
Thank you for your review. We advised the customer before the arrival time frame we we're running late which some thimgs are forseen and customer had no issue at the time about it, as for hours we have now a 3 hour minimum and the drivers are aware of that when job was booked a while back it was 2…

My brother and I hired Big Burns for our long distance move from Buffalo, NY to Charlotte. We called around to several places and they were for sure the most reasonably priced. We were skeptical because there weren’t a ton of reviews online and the invoice wasn’t super descriptive but due to the quick responses we were receiving and the communication, we decided to take a chance and I’m glad we did. They updated us the moment they got on the road with their ETAs.

I recently used Big Burns Moving and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They showed up on time, were friendly and professional, and got straight to work without wasting any time. What I appreciated most was how careful they were with everything. They wrapped the furniture properly, handled fragile items with extra care, and made sure nothing was scratched or damaged. You can tell they take pride in what they do.

The owner was courteous and considerate, he seemed concerned to help us out when Imy husband called one day to ask for an appointment the next week but since uncertain bad weather was coming his crew came the very next day! We were trying to move part of our belongings and then schedule a latter date for the final move. The two guys were late due to an accident but they texted to let us know what was going on. Very easy people to work with, I would recommend for your next move!
