Big League Movers: #1 Rated Memphis Moving Company

Not a dependable company. The team broke my TV cabinet and I filed a claim but they never got back to me. They ignored my emails and my calls were given total disregards. I highly don’t recommend them. Their estimate gets increased at the end. Their team is slower than average movers, which costed us more because of that.

Horrible experience with this company. They were contracted out from Amazon to deliver a refrigerator to our office in Tupelo, MS. They refused to deliver the refrigerator to our dock door, and brought in it the foyer in the front office and stated that's all the work I was going to get out of them. Very rude and unprofessional. They also threw old pallets out of the grass and left. I have called the company multiple times in hopes to speak to a manager, but it never happens, and no one EVER returns my phone call.

While some of their team were polite and courteous, some of the guys seemed questionable. On the moving day they arrived several hours late. We had to call them numerous times and we were not kept in the loop. In terms of the moving, some of the items were not packed at all and suffered damage in transit. A solid wood desk was badly scratched. A futon bed frame was completely destroyed. Heavy objects were placed on top of a table resulting in the legs breaking. Numerous parts of a bed frame have been scratched.

I’ve used them in the past and had excellent results. However, this time didn’t live up to my past experience. The men that showed up did an adequate job but as we are getting situated, we are finding parts and pieces that are misplaced. I’m sure we will find them in a couple of days, but they aren’t where they were supposed to be. So far, we have only encountered two broken pieces of furniture…one they told us about and the other can be fixed. Most of all, I’m disappointed in the cost of this move.

Hired with a $800 estimate. Paid $1490. Fell onto my mother’s chair and broke the leg off. They sent the “claim” through a third party vendor which offered me $30 for the damage and no offer of repair. I spent $30 in time filling out the ridiculous 1990s non digital form. I chose them for the high ratings. Odd but my sister said the mover used her phone and put in a 5 star review. If you want a broken piece of furniture and an insulting offer to fix it, use Big League Movers. Shame on Andy Wise too

I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience. Our move was disappointing from start to finish. The crew arrived after already completing another move that day and was clearly under pressure. During the move, I overheard members of the crew complaining that they had been misled about the day's schedule. Additional movers and another truck were ultimately needed to finish the job. Unfortunately, several pieces of our wedding pottery were shattered during the move.

First let me say I take some of the blame for not being there to watch 3 grown men to make sure they did their job efficiently, and carefully. The move took approximately 4 hours to clear out a 10 x 15 storage unit and bring the items to my house. I noticed several things missing and broken. I was told the missing things were not in the unit and the broken things were broken before they moved them.

I rated highly rated Big League Movers about a year ago because the guys who moved us worked very hard, were professional and nice. This review is over a year later because with movers you really may not know things until months later. The guys who moved us from a house to an apartment removed a door from our entertainment center and did not inform us. We thought the door was broken and lost until it was later found in our large storage unit.
