*** EDIT *** I had to call the police and file a complaint, and make a request for no more contact from the owner, Wesley, to stop harassment and threats via text. In response to his "fixer" that can repair gouges in hardwood flooring for $25, that sounds suspiciously like a handyman with filler and a marker. We never do small jobs like this anymore unless they are signed and we are sad to see it come to this, but we have changed our services to make sure we notate any damages to wood floors before starting any job in the future. BMM
Big Man Movers did our move from Florida to NC . It could not have gone worse. They left several items at my Fla home which I had to load in my truck. One of his movers stole a check from my wife's filing cabinet and wrote it out in his own name for 600 dollars and also stole a change jug with about 200 dollars in it he admitted to stealing the check. Both 40ft trucks were supposed to be at our nc home on Thursday .

Awful experience....still awaiting replacements of my belongings that were damaged!!! We moved on 5/31/17 and the owner was suppose to contact their insurance company to start a claim for all the damage that took place. Today, I found out that Wesley Ridgewell never called their insurance company and notified them of the damages. The day we moved it was raining and it ended up being a 3 day move because of everything that went on. They were like football players inside a china shop.

I called for a moving quote on Thursday and they told me over the phone I would have some one out to give me a quote on Friday at 6:30 pm and I would received the quote for the move back Friday evening or Saturday morning. On Friday, I received a call around 6:00 pm and was told since I was about an hour and half away (from Winter Park to Winter Garden is about 45 minutes to an hour tops) and it was an apartment, they were going to do it over the phone.

Called them up, and they quickly came over to inventory what needed moving, claimed to send a quote to my email the following day. Never received a quote, so I texted back, never replied. By the time I quit waiting on them and tried other movers it was too late, everybody was booked up.

The worst moving company in Florida. Very dishonest people. The insurance coverage this company carries is a big joke. The workers are not licensed drivers and they are still allowed to drive the trucks. Your items will come up missing and will not be replaced. HORRIBLE!

Hi Doug, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. The lost items were placed in our storage in good faith because it did not fit in your storage, but we did delivered them to you. The only thing reported broken was the TV and we made several attempts to replace the TV.

I was honestly dreading my move, but this team made it one of the easiest days I’ve had in a long time. They were friendly, fast, and incredibly respectful of both my home and my belongings. Nothing was rushed, nothing was damaged, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly where I wanted it. It’s hard to find companies you can truly trust, but these guys earned it. If you’re on the fence, book them—you won’t regret it.
Matt, Jerome, Leonard with Big Man Movers did a fantastic job. They were the most professional movers I’ve ever had. They arrived on time had all the supplies protected all my furniture moved in a timely manner set up my beds and all the furniture exactly where I wanted it. I can’t believe what a job they did fantastic move.
Easy move out and easy move in, nothing but professional through and through, great pricing for what I needed to be done.
Our experience with Big Man Movers is definitely a unique one! Six years ago in May of 2020 my realtor highly recommended Big Man Movers. Wesley, the owner and his crew moved the contents of our home into two storage units in Orlando where we thought we would only rent for a couple of months. Life in 2020 had different plans for us like it did for so many people. Six years later we finally moved our stuff out of storage to be near our new grandson.
