I would have loved to give the 3 young gentlemen that came and packed my house five stars, but in all of my years, including numerous military moves, I have never been so disappointed. I paid over three thousand dollars to have things packed and put into a truck, thinking I had hired experience movers. I've just moved into my new home. I can't put together my bed because pieces are missing. I can't find items that I'm now wondering if things were left behind, How can I have lids to pots without the pots.

This was our second time using Muv and what a disappointment. They changed our moving time with no notice, didn't honor the prepayment credit (even though it doesn't specify changes made by the customer only) and told me I was combative and they "didn't care and were done with me" because I was requesting a credit or accommodation.

I don’t often write reviews, but I want to warn others of Muv’s poor business practices. The owner/sales guy (Matt) came to my house and was very pleasant. He took 15-20 to give me an estimate to pack my items and move them into a storage unit. He quoted me around 3k plus or minus 10-20%. Well folks, the bill came to be over 6k, which was over 100% increase from my original quote. This is a bait and switch type business practice. I called Matt several times before he finally returned my call.

I met with Matt at initial consultation and he sold me on this company. I felt as though there was great transparency, good communication, decent value, and that I was paying for QUALITY service. Matt and his team have been an enormous disappointment. We had multiple broken furniture pieces, couches and bedding covered in dirt, drawers of organized items haphazardly dumped into a box, our family couch cushions used as stuffing in the moving van, they did not cover any fabric items, did not wrap any mattresses in…

We were looking for movers for our move across the state and had many quotes. We were enticed by Muv for what we felt like a more accurate quote and the hourly rate. When the movers showed up we did a walk around and I signed them in. There were multiple times the movers were outside standing around on my dime. They tried to leave us with large furniture to move and had to explain to them the situation they were about to leave. They finally understood and unpacked boxes and put the furniture in, again on our dime.

My experience with muv was terrible. Not only did they ruin and put a hole in my couch, they also left an abundance of items behind. I paid extra packing and entire cabinets were left behind in my home, as well as entire closets. Be careful! Make sure you thoroughly check behind the movers.

Violated the do not call list. If they can’t follow that simple rule then I don’t know how they’ll do a good job moving you. Update: violated it again on 3/12/2024. Reported to FCC.
