I have an issue regarding a claim under the mover's coverage I purchased. While my contention may not be correct I reached out to Louise Froehlich to discuss this, first in writing then after no reply by telephone, leaving a voicemail on her extension. She has not had the decency to respond. Shame on her for treating a customer so shabbily.

Don't do it. Absolutely awful. Contracted the move. The estimator underestimated the shipment. After we saw the estimate we told Amy who I believe is the dispatcher he was wrong. He made an adjustment but it was not enough. A 53 ft truck showes up half full. The driver, Bob, immediately said he did not have enough room. He was right. They left 1/3rd of our belongings. From here it goes down hill. We made a huge mistake; we paid when they delivered to the new address. NEVER PAY UNTIL THE ENTIRE SHIPMENT ARRIVES.

I had a pretty terrible time with this group last summer. They were much slower than I expected, never moving some of the larger items even though we had discussed them in advance. They broke several of my belongings (including breaking a bookshelf in half) and took down information at the end about what was broken and I signed for it. A few months later after receiving no reimbursement & contacted them to ask about it and the person in the office said she had no idea what I was talking about.

You won’t be able to identify me by my Google name since that is a moniker I use for such purposes. And I had already contacted “the office” and spoke to Lisa who acted as though she could give a rats behind about my concerns. My move was several months ago in fact and I still get pissd when I think about 1) overcharging and 2) the two men not outing heavy items back where they belonged thus resulting in me having to pay someone else to move said items in their proper places.
Thank you for the feedback. Our team was told that the maintenance crew at your complex would place the window air conditioner back in the window. Rest assured, we certainly would have had the crew come back and replace the air conditioner if that were not the case.
Most of the people I dealt with were respectful and kind. They worked efficiently and took time to make sure my items were where I wanted them. I rate so low because many of my things ended up broken and because I didn't take out extra insurance I was pretty much told you can fill out a claim but you really won't get anything. I had gone with Bohrens based on a positive reference, but I would not use them again. For how much it ended up costing, I would have expected my items not to be broken.
