I absolutely DO NOT recommend this company for moving. This was not our first move with a moving company, so we knew what to expect. But the experience with this company and its specific #1 team(that's what the agent said) that showed up was HORRIFIC. It made our move that was supposed to be exciting to heart breaking with anger. Our specific team came into our home like bulls in a china shop. We were CONTRACTED 3 days of packing, the team wanted to do it in 1, slightly 1 and a half days.

I PCSd back in the end of Jun 2016 from Ft Dix. The female Packers that came were all related to each other, from speaking with one of them. The small to medium boxes that were packed by them were taped and no sign of reopening when it arrived to final destination. I had items that were of high value come up missing. Items in the night table were packed in one box. My wife and I had forgot that we had gems in the night table.
It's hard to imagine a worse international moving company. The issue is that they partner with StarInt.com, and they couldn't coordinate a trip to the mailbox between them. 1) During the quoting process, they gave conflicting information regarding insurance type and costs. I had to point it out to them so they could fix it. It shows a complete lack of attention to important details. 2) The communication is awful.

Transfer moving moved all of my mother’s and I belongings last September so that our house could be rebuilt. Everything seemed fine, and they were very professional. When our house was finished we unloaded the storage unit to find that my 6’2 surfboard wasn’t there! Really? One of two things happened here. A.) the movers broke it since thy didn’t know how fragile they were and didn’t man up to admit it. B.) they stole it (which seems unrealistic) Look, I don’t do this kind of thing often.
They scheduled an appointment with me and the morning of the appointment the sales rep called to say he had a very busy day, but that he would like to speak to me about my move on the phone that day at 12: 30 p.m. Well, Patrick never call - EVER!!!
Terrible experience. Would never recommend. Moved from my home of 30 years in Delran to Lakewood NJ. They stored my furniture for less than a month. When furniture arrived there was major damage on almost every piece of furniture. Cracked …
Unfortunately the insurance that was chosen for this move was the minimum liability coverage of $0.60 per pound per article, and we cashed the customer out beyond that coverage. We take our moving and storage very seriously and are sorry that this happened, as it is not something that normally…
The people that packed and took the stuff we're great. But waited 15 days then they say there not coming till 5-6pm. Mom mother is old this is really unacceptable. Also they over charged here. Not freaking happy. Never ever again.
They seemed nice doing the quote a few months ago. Now that I want to schedule their services it's been radio silence after numerous attempts over the last 2 weeks. Oh well

**Outstanding Experience with Transtar Movers – Especially Tenhue and His Crew!** This was our second move with Transtar, and once again they exceeded every expectation. Earlier this year, they moved us out of our home after a devastating flood. After spending the next three months renovating, they returned in July to move us back in. It was a hot, rainy day, and I was incredibly nervous because every floor, wall, carpet, and freshly painted surface in our home was brand new.

Today we moved and Tyrone, Derrick and Dimell were our movers. To say the least, they were exceptional. Professional at all times, extremely accommodating moving things around and even setting up our carpet as well as protection pads for our couches. They went above and beyond our expectations. They were exceptionally clean, friendly, avoided any damages to the walls or glass or art work and worked extremely well as a team.
