The manager at the 32nd street location in Kentwood, MI does not answer the phone or call back. In order to reach the manager at this location you must either go to the unit or call another location where they can reach this manager by cell phone. This is my second time trying to reach this locations manager to no avail. I called on a Thursday morning, left a voice mail, and by Saturday afternoon still had no response.

Don't do it. They don't have moving equipment. They won't let you use the restroom. They are hard to reach and when you can reach them they are rude and not helpful.
Alex, we strive to provide 5-star service and we appreciate your business at National storage Centers- Kentwood. As described in our lease, we require a 10 day notice when vacating and we do not prorate monthly rent, but we are always happy to chat with you about any questions that you may have.
BEYOND AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!! This week we called the office to tell them that on June 29 we would be moving out of our unit & to verify our code as our code previously did not work (and therefore couldn't get access to our unit when we wanted). The receptionist verified our code and stated "you will have no problems with your code". We arrived that evening with our rented UHaul and with friends to help us move & the code would NOT work.
Was a 4 star rating but there were issues. The major issue was making payments. It was more difficult then it needed to be. The kiosk at the place never worked. Paying inside worked sometimes.. their over the phone payment was a joke …

HORRIBLE customer service! I followed the directions on the signs to rent a U-haul truck thru them bc the trucks are parked at the end of my block, and U-haul is 3miles away. So i stood in the cold, following the instructions and nothing …
They never answer their phone, even for paying customers. They often don't even return your calls. There hours are not accurate. They don't turn on autopay when they said they would and then charge you late fees. Terrible customer service.
Hi Dylan - I just reviewed your account - looks like you left a message last week and we returned your call first thing the next morning, resolving your issue with the autopay not running, and removed the late fee.
Should be 5 stars except for the 43% increase in rent from 2020 to 2021. This follows marked increases from the business opening.

Pretty good storage place. Friendly staff and responsive customer service. I’ve left my lock off or secured my unit improperly on several occasions and I have always received a call and an email by the end of that day to let me know to come back and secure my unit properly.

I only needed to store here for a month, but everything went as smooth as possible. The unit itself was clean and dry, the price was good for the size, getting in and out of the facility was problem-free. These are all things to be hoped for and expected. What sets this place apart is the management. Amanda was so helpful and friendly. She went above and beyond helping me with a problem I had when clearing out my unit. Great place.

Boxer storage was reasonably priced, most storage places around GR tend to be expensive. Not boxer. Best prices I could find around. They have easy instructions on how to get to the right side of the storage units and it was really simple to get in and find my unit.
