DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I cannot stress enough how terrible my experience was. When you view their website and receive a quote, you might assume, as I did, that they are top-notch professionals—experienced, efficient, and respectful of your time. Charging $160 per hour, nearly $50 more than their competitors, would make you think they are the best in the industry. However, if you make this assumption, YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED! They will disrespect your time, your money, and your intelligence.

I chose this moving company based on their high reviews and their Facebook advertisement was great! They gave me a great estimate quote which was in my budget. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the movers. I truly felt they took advantage of me and used the elevator and distance to elevator an excuse to charge me more money. Mind you I lived on the 2nd floor not the 4h floor and the elevator was near by. The distance at least 10ft or less.
I wouldn’t give this company any stars if I could!! I used them to move 9 pieces of furniture a week ago !! Movers showed up and could not move my furniture!! They dropped my fridge! Tore up the front door! Dropped a $1000 drssser and swore they didn’t break it and everything was caught on video!! It took them nearly 3 hrs to move a few pieces of furniture 3 miles down the road! The movers milked the clock! Didn’t show up with tools to take apart things!

Hidden Fees and Billing Concerns The moving crew was respectful, professional, and efficient during my move. Unfortunately, my experience with the company’s pricing and billing practices was extremely disappointing. I was quoted $150 per hour plus a truck fee for a one-bedroom, one-bath apartment move. This was the only pricing discussed and reflected in my estimate.

Bad. Two guys showed up in an unmarked truck, not even in buddy moving t-shirts. Probably 3rd party hires not actually working for buddy moving. No blankets or like what you see in the promotional videos. Took them 5.5 hours to move a 650sqft apartment (no packing!! Just moving 12 items total) the apartment was only 0.5 mile away….. to top it all off. I received flirty messages from the mover for 2 months after my move. “Checking on your new place… how you doing” “do you like to dance?”… creepy and unprofessional.

Absolutely the worst moving company I’ve worked with. I’ve moved several times and below is what I experienced with Buddy Moving. 1. Hidden Fees - They will book you with a deposit and then when they confirm booking right before they will ask you if you want to include coverage for damaged items during the move. They will only cover $30 dollars if they drop your tv but can cover it all for only $25 an hour more.
Please, Please, PLEASE, fully research this company before hiring them! Many people report being multi-time movers with this being by far their worst experience. I really wanted this move to go smoothly, but unfortunately it ended up being a frustrating experience from start to finish. My move was originally scheduled for 8:00 a.m., but I received a call saying someone had broken their ankle and my move was pushed back to 1:00 p.m. While I understand emergencies happen, after reading other reviews it seems like last minute delays with similar explanations may be more common than they should be.
