I would not recommend Step-by-Step Moving & Delivery based on our experience. Last month, they moved my daughter's belongings from one house to another in Plano—a distance of less than one mile. We requested a crew of three movers, but they showed up with four. One of the crew members appeared to be very young and inexperienced, possibly under 17. Instead of helping move items efficiently, he spent a long time trying to dismantle a crib with a screwdriver.
The move started alright, but they ended up damaging some furniture. Rather than admit a single mistake, they insisted that nothing was their fault and to meet in person again to resolve it. I had already spent far too much time dealing …

Worst moving company, they brought a small truck for our move and couldn't fit or load our belongings. One of their guys started screaming in our apartment (we have videos) where even our apartment manager came running to check out the commotion, when we asked if they would come back to move rest of the stuff. We paid them $1700 for a 3 bedroom apartment. They have zero customer service and bad attitude.

Step by Step moved us from the DFW area to Washington state and did a stellar job! They moved our possessions to storage while we looked for a new house and then the owner Rusty and a companion brought out items and unloaded it in Washington. How many companies have the owner on site for a move? Amazing!!! All of our furniture and boxes arrived cross country with no damage. When they realized they forgot a bracket needed to mount a mirror, they went to a neaeby Lowe's to get a bracket to rectify the situation.

I booked Step-By-Step Moving and Delivery yesterday for a local apartment move. I researched alot of different companies before I booked this company and they exceeded my expectations. The owner, Rusty answers the telephone himself and since he was so honest and upfront about best moving practices, I decided to hire him. I especially needed help with packing up my closet so we hired him for a Move and Pack. Best decision ever. Edgar and his crew arrived and they were fast, friendly, and efficient.

Step-by-step is an excellent moving company that performed way beyond our expectations. Their services include disassembly, packaging, loading, moving, offloading and reassembly...a complete house moving package. All these were performed by a very cheerful crew with no item scuffed or damaged. They were very responsive to inquiries throughout the entire process. They picked up and delivered on time as promised. This has been one smooth and stress-free moving process.
