Hiring Budget movers was the biggest mistake i made this year. They totally ruined a $2000 refrigerator by scratching and denting the entire front of it. They never wrapped up one piece of furniture while moving it. Called the owner and he basically blamed the entire thing on me. He told me there were a couple scratches on it but all 3 dents were caused after they dropped it off. Putting all the blame on me. They don't want to pay for the damage that they did. Use these guys at your own risk.
Perry, I had hopes that you could grow up and let this go after a Judge lawfully dismissed your claim in a court of law. My Top Rated movers admit that yes they scratched it a bit... but those huge dents simply were not there when they parted ways.
Put in a request for moving with a guesstimate, they got back to me on email with their contact info, and said they had availability to help us move. I tried calling 4 times over a 2 day span and got sent to voicemail all 4 times. I left a voicemail with a callback number but they never got back to me. Pretty disappointing
Apologies, As a small, budget-minded moving service, we have one person taking calls each day... For this reason, particularly during peak summer moving season, some calls go to voicemail. We promptly respond to all voicemails! If you didn't leave a message the first four times you called...
Only giving one star because you have to give at least one. They were scheduled to be here at 6:30 in the morning. They called the night before and told us they would not be here until between 8 and 9. OK. That's fine. I got to my elderly Aunts apartment they were wandering around the courtyard looking for the building. I asked them which one they were looking for. The response was a slightly rude "we got this".
Apologies for any misunderstanding. We never do appointed start times. This is because it wouldn't leave us any wiggle room if someone calls in sick or we have a problem with a truck, ie wont start, flat tire, etc.
Sold me an insurance policy and then when i called about damage they refused to file a claim. Placed numerous heavy boxes on top of my chest freezer that crush the lid. Company blames the transport company saying it must be due to driving 60 mph over railroad tracks. I am sorry but common sense would say you should pack the trailer anticipating that kind of driving. Heavy boxes packed to ceiling should obviously not be on top of a freezer chest.
Apologies! The damage to your freezer is purely cosmetic and the assessed amount of damage does not exceed the $250 deductible on the $35.00 insurance plan you purchased. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused!
I've used budget movers in the past and never had any issues with property being damaged. We had boxes marked fragile and there were multiple boxes just thrown about. Our tv has a big scratch and we will have to get a new one. Moving into our new apartment they dented the walls, scratch our walls. We were quoted at 700 and we ended up paying closer to 1100. I guess you get what you pay for. Don't waste your money especially if it's going to cost you to get new things.

YOU BETTER BUDGET MUCH MORE The owner is real slick. Upon inquiring about a move, Nick McDonald comes off friendly and continuously says he has the best prices. His original guesstimate based on real numbers provided by me: about 10 items like couch, queen bed, bureau, coffee table, 2 bar stools, a small desk, coffee table, rug and 12-14 boxes. Then I emailed and said 2 couches because my daughter was given one for her new place. Nick’s guesstimate was $245.

I’ve waited to give my review after I retrieved my furniture that Budget placed into storage for me. Upon removing my leather sofa I noticed that it has rips alongside the top, like it was dragged instead of carried. I also noticed scuffs on top of my footrest like it was dragged as well. This is very disappointing as my leather furniture came from a kid free home. It was basically a ‘non sitting room’ sofa, rarely sat on and never moved.
Appologies, Once in a great while a bit of wear and tear can occur during moving. We're sorry this happened and wish you would have filed a damage claim with us... Respectfully, Nick McDonald, Owner.
They were all nice, but the quality of service just wasn't great. They took a 30 minute phone call with their boss which they compensated me for, but it was a waste of my time. They also shattered the glass top of my coffee table which I was pretty bummed about. They said it just shattered and they barely touched it (?) It's really sturdy and I've moved the glass on and off a hundred times to clean it so it was definitely dropped.
Apologies! We apologize if we took a 30 minute break during your move! Once in awhile glass can shatter because it has a pre-existing hairline crack, it goes from warm to cold to fast in the wintertime, its thin glass, or all of the above. It might have somehow shattered while in their hands.

Look no further. This is the company you want! I was so stressed about my move…UNTIL these guys showed up. Kennedy & Jeremy were the definition of phenomenal service and my stresses disappeared immediately. Not only did they move so dang fast (my entire move only took 2.5 hours!) and come in under budget, the care and solution-oriented attitude (like when I realized I didn’t fully unassemble my bed frame and it might not fit in the door LOL) these two had was such a blessing.

The process of moving can be stressful, but having the right people in your corner makes all the difference! I cannot recommend Budget Movers enough. I spoke with Tim who was kind, thorough, professional, and so helpful. Tim called back 2 days before the move to make sure everything was on track and to solidify the last minute details. On the morning of the move, Nick (the owner) called about 15 minutes before they arrived, which was in the time window Tim and I had agreed on earlier.

This long over due. I'm sorry about that. I have used Budget Mover's twice, once for my daughter and then for myself. I CANNOT begin to say how incredibly awesome this experience was. From the initial phone call, I wish I remembered the name of the gentleman I talked to, however, he was very professional and EVERYTHING he said they would do they did! Raphael, Kennedy and Garret were my movers. Those young men worked so hard.
