In their own words
My experience with Bull City movers last year was by far the worst move EVER! This could have been terrible for the owner after our phone call but I decided not to make a bad situation worse. My leasing office referred me to the company - the guys that showed up were 2 hours late and to top the move off they ripped my entire suede SOFA! without paying for the damage . the gentleman ignored all my calls , the most unprofessional black owned movers I had ever seen !
They left two of my furnitures in their storage and never delivered them. They agreed to refund the value of those missing furnitures but never paid me after 3 months after my moving even if I kept asking. In addition, they asked for $150 for providing a proof of insurnace to my new apartment, even if our agreed price included insurance. I knew some other companies would provide this document for free.
Please do not use this moving company!!! I booked Bull City Movers on June 9 because my roommate and I are moving into a new apartment on July 28. After having a phone conversation and given a rate, the owner asked me to send a text message given the details we discussed over the phone including the date (July 28). I called on July 19, literally a little over a week before our move to confirm our time. Well... Nelson did not answer my phone call but he called back within the next 30 minutes.
Arranged for moving services and agreed on a price, date, and time. The day of the move (ONE day before closing and 20 MINUTES BEFORE THEIR ARRIVAL TIME) the owner, Juan Nelson, changed the agreed upon terms because he was not equipped to do the job we discussed. This left me scrambling to find movers who could properly do the job. All I needed moved was a refrigerator— imagine if I needed a whole house transported! Although the movers themselves were very kind, the owner was wishy-washy and condescending.
I don’t know who they paid to write these reviews but they are the most unprofessional unorganized crackheads I’ve have ever meet they damaged my property as well as the fake deacon the movers stink and spend all their time on the phone and complaining I wish I could give them less than one star
I hate to put 1 star review for any service. But this time I had a horrible experience with this moving company and I feel like people need to aware of their poor service. Please please make sure twice or thrice before you work with them. I …
The worst movers ever. They unloaded the truck and move our items into our home. The dropped furniture on my new hardwood floors, scrapping them and put huge scratched into the wood. They put holes in the walls and scraps the doorways.
They're nice and professional for the most part but the service declined. Used them in 2020 and 2021 for a move and had no issues. Friendly efficient quick reasonable price..2023...very different experience. Emailed them in march for a …

They showed up early, worked very quickly, and were flexible with my needs. Everything was handled with care and professionalism. Great service at a great price.
I have used Bull City Movers Plus + on multiple needs from small jobs to large jobs. They always arrive on time, ready to work and most importantly with smiles on their faces. Owner is great and very helpful with logistics. Team is fantastic, very respectful and very careful with your belongings. Great job Bull City Movers Plus + I will be using you all again next week!! Thank you, Laura R.
Nelson and the crew were genuinely helpful and understanding. They were responsive, professional, and truly made my move as smooth as possible. I am so grateful to them, and appreciative of each mover that is part of this company. My advice to anyone who is moving locally and across the country - choose Bull City Movers! I promise you’ll feel so secure and happy at the end.
The guys were great. Not only did they do a fine, professional job moving a 1936 Wurlitzer baby grand but we hit it off immediately and had a wonderful time while the diligently worked. Not only would I recommend them to any and everyone, I will use them again anytime I have something to move. Guys thanks for making our day😊
