DO NOT USE this moving company. They moved me from NYC to LA. The movers arrived 2 hours late in NYC and as a result were in a huge rush through my job. When they packed up my fragile items, they did so so poorly that I have thousands of dollars of damages. They take no responsibility for the fact that their employees are responsible for the damage. Their attempt at a settlement is a joke. Had the damage happened to goods that we had packed, I could understand their decision to provide a minimal settlement.
this was the WORST moving experience I have ever had. All my boxes showed up broken and beaten. There was a thick goo that leaked into my boxes and ruined a lot of my personal belongings. The worst part is my brand new 60" flat screen showed up and was broken. Despite them wrapping it in a moving blanket the TV showed up with scuff marks that look like someone was just kicking the tv. I turned it on the screen was completely broken.
Terrible. We hired MoveEast for our west coast to east coast move. We packed the boxes ourselves and only had their team move 1 piece of large furniture, a leather couch. The west coast movers absolutely destroyed our couch before it was even loaded onto the truck. They jammed it down our stairwell, causing the frame to break, leather to tear in multiple locations, and ALSO caused damage to our building.

Absolutely do not recommend if you want your furniture in one piece. They broke 4 pieces of furniture (nightstand, desk, shoe cabinet, book case), despite a decent amount they charged for every little item (~$4200 for one bedroom apt) and a generous tip. We haven’t unpacked our boxes yet so we don’t even know yet if there is damage to other items. They didn’t reattach the handles to the dresser. Not only that, they told us we had to pay their parking ticket.
They damaged over $10,000 in furniture and while not denying it, they only offered $580 (later dropped to $90) to repair the damages. We paid them for packaging since they claimed to have professional people to do the job and considering the length of the move. Their personnel showed up high on marijuana, which explains the poor packaging and resulting damage. We reported them to the Better Business Bureau (“BBB”) but still refused to repair the damaged furniture. Stay away!!!
We have moved almost 10 times in 10 years for my husband job and my suggestion would be to do not waste your money on full service movers. Moving from Riggewood NJ to Orange County CA costed a staggering 30k USD for a 3 bed two bath house. …

I had a great experience moving my items with CA NY! It was very easy to get a quote, and the customer service team was responsive throughout. Our moving team in LA (Osvaldo, Eric, Fernando, Max) was very efficient, and was able to accommodate our additional items beyond the estimate we provided. We were regularly informed about the status of our items throughout its travel across the country. The NY team delivered our items within two days after they arrived in the city, and did so without damaging any items.
