Drivers are incredibly rude and will run you over any chance they get. As a business owner I'd start firing drivers that feel the need to go 10+ mph OVER the speed limit in a CONSTRUCTION ZONE no less! Driver could have killed me if I'd have had to stop suddenly. I would NEVER hire this company!
I'm running 72 m.p.h in a 65 zone, and a trucker heading South on highway U.S. 59 was literally right on me the whole time, had I needed to slam on my brakes for any reason whatsoever he would of ran right into the car. I was running 72 just to keep distance between him and I, but didn't matter as I picked up speed, he did as well.
Came here to see if anyone has had negative experiences while on the road next to one of these trucks and was not surprised from all the other reviews. These drivers do not care for anyone’s safety. First time it happened I thought, maybe it’s just that one driver. Until a few weeks after I had a different driver riding my tail and I was doing 75 on k10 get around another capital truck that was doing the speed limit. When on the road, stay clear of Capital Trucking.
I encountered one of their drivers today on the road. He drove in the left lane blocking traffic for 30 minutes, his load was uncovered and blowing away in the wind and he had no mud flaps on his trailer causing salt to kick up and crack my windshield. Next time I see one of your trucks in a lot I will be returning the favor.
Drivers suck, they’ll ride your tailgate while you yourself are speeding. I bet they’re the same type of people who wine about getting cut off While not caring about crushing you and your family. If you’re looking to hire these fools don’t, your load is sure to arrived messed up.
One of their semis just pulled out of a construction zone suddenly right in front of me. I was going 55 they were going about 5. They could have killed me or someone else as I slammed on my break as hard as I could. Absolutely ridiculous
As others have said, the drivers will tailgate within a second following distance. I don't understand how someone with a CDL can be so bad at driving.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
I've seen these trucks on the road a lot lately due to construction on 75 hwy. I haven't noticed anything negative about them. On Wednesday, I was driving in a funeral procession for a young EMT/firefighter that was about 2 miles long on 75 hwy north of Holton. A number of people showed their respect by pulling over and stopping. We met quite a few semi trucks. Many of them pulled over and slowed down, but didn't stop. Except ... 3 semi trucks. One from Capitol Trucking and 2 from Container One.
