Arranged and paid to have wine shipped home while visitng NAPA through hotel. Nothing but problems. Wine never arrived while told it was broke in shipment. Communication was terrible and they placed blame on UPS while trying to avoid any responsibility. Multiple phone calls and broken promises...possibly lies from them as well. Eventually reimbursed after painstaking effort to resolve though really wanted the wine as a couple bottles only available at winery.
This was the worst place you could possibly go to. They stole items that were in my box that I was to receive they blamed it on the person that brought the items in it came from a very well reputable business in napa whom also would be very honest these people at Carton & Crates stole and made me pay a very large amount for the delivery for your best. Do not use this company. This is why they don’t have any reviews or any positive reviews hoping this gets across on the website.
Cartons and crates sat on a picture for 30 days after it was dropped off for shipping. When notified that the package was not not received, they generated a new tracking number and label with an incorrect address, and shipped it to the wrong state. When asked to open up an investigation and correct the address my requests were ignored. The staff are good about screening calls and never getting your request to the person it needs to be delivered to. This company has the worst customer service ever.
If you want to deal with scattered disorganized wine shipping, this is your place. Every time you go in here the staff seems confused when printing labels or creating wine shipments. Recently had an issue where our orders that we had already paid for weren’t being shipped.. they were just sitting at cartons and crates because they were in the middle of a legal dispute with UPS. 0 notice, 0 follow up. We only noticed because we checked the tracking numbers.
I do NOT recommend Cartons and Crates if you are making a wine shipment. The arrogant woman who answered the phone at Cartons and Crates was neither courteous nor helpful. They will restrict your shipment so that, if you want or need to make any change whatsoever (even picking up at your local UPS Store), they will charge you over $30! Steer clear of this place!

We recently had a wonderful experience with cartons and crates. We toured wine country and purchased 12 very nice bottles of wine that we needed shipped to the Boston area. They were open on Sunday. Very helpful with packing and shipping details. We dropped our case off on Sunday and it was delivered to my door by 10:00 Tuesday morning. No damage at all. Highly recommend!!!!
