Not what they claim. Perhaps the worst experience we have had with movers and contractors. For starts they have no truck - I had to rent a U-Haul. We asked for 3 movers and the 3rd person showed up sick and 4 hrs late. They were slow, distracted, disrespectful to my wife, and struggled to move heavier furniture. Our walls and railings were damaged and they broke an $1800 reclining bed when it violently slammed to the ground.
Although we appreciate the efforts of moving both me and my GF at two different locations, they showed up nearly two hours late and only had 2 employees. They damaged my couch (ripped it and destroyed the electrical cord) and never offered …

Ten years ago I needed movers to help move all my furniture locally. I found this tiny add in Craigslist, cheap labor. I was on a budget and moved all the boxes myself but needed help with the big heavy stuff. Cast Iron, okay, I figured I’d give them a try. Two strapping young men showed up with their rickety old moving truck. Dominic and Deckland, like when parents used to name their kids with matching names but they weren’t brothers. I remember both of them clearly.
The guys showed up early, did 4 hours of work in 2 hours, disassembled and reassembled some furniture and moved a piano among other heavy items. The were careful not to scuff floors or walls and were unfailingly good humored. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat
We recently used Cast Iron Moving for our move, and the entire experience was fantastic! Dom, the owner, was incredibly helpful and made the scheduling and planning process easy from start to finish. On moving day, Ned and Ian were absolutely fabulous! They were quick, efficient, professional, and made the entire process so much less stressful. Not only did they work hard, but they were also friendly and great to talk with throughout the day. Their positive attitudes and attention to detail really stood out.
