No show, no call. Very apathetic sounding teenager on the phone was rude to my wife. zero stars. They wont answer the phone for the last 3 hours as my day's schedule is being ruined. Wondering if they even picked up my couch from big lots or not so I can call someone competent to do the job. Go cavaliers lol
We picked up and delivered your couch….
Despite providing an inventory ahead of time, they showed up with a too small truck. This left my wife and I to do several hours of moving on our own and to use our own trailer, which we thankfully had (we also did the moving of the items on it). The couches were not put together. One bed was not put together. Outdoor furniture was put wherever they felt like. The truck also backed over our walkway and broke the stone.
I know a one star review is harsh, but my move experience with Cav Movers was pretty much the worst case scenario as far as hiring movers goes. I scheduled a move with Cav Movers in July 2023. They confirmed over the phone that the move was scheduled, and I received a confirmation email from them saying they would arrive between 10-12 the morning of the move. Nobody ever showed up. I called 5 times between 10:30 and 12:30 and was unable to even get someone on the phone.
We didn’t even do this job…. We’re truly sorry for the inconvenience and stress caused by the mishap during your scheduled move with Cav Movers.
DO NOT USE CAV MOVERS! We used them for a local move 2 weeks ago. They sent a U-haul truck that was too small (the movers acknowledged this as soon as they arrived and did the walk through and did not remedy it). They had 0 hand-trucks and asked to borrow my husband's. Since the truck was too small, they did not get everything out of the house and did not make a return trip or send for another truck...just left it.
Did not pack truck efficiently. Left ample space and hid it with mattress and forcing us to leave lots of belongings behind. Lots of items were damaged in the move due to poor packing and not using available items for padding and protection. Had to pay for 2 hours minimum of work- only took them 1.5 hours because they rushed and did a poor job of loading leading to lots of damage and loss of items. Would not recommend their labor services.

I highly recommend Cav Movers! They offered the best price, had excellent communication throughout the process, and took the stress out of moving. We had a very challenging situation trying to move into a house in downtown DC and they handled it with patience and professionalism!
