1. Movers were 2.5 hours late, scheduled for 8:00 AM and confirmed the day before via email. No one would answer the phone until 8:45 and were told the guys overslept because they were working until 3 AM the night before. No apology for inconvenience, was told they would be there by 9:45 they showed up at 10:30. 2. Showed up in a rental truck with two guys.
Horrible experience. Unprofessional, didn't meet terms set out in correspondence. No invoice or receipt after being improperly charged. Just a horrific experience.
I contacted them in April to schedule a move for June. Whoever I spoke with confirmed that we were scheduled. I received no follow up other than an email asking if we were still interested, which I assumed was sent in error because we had already confirmed a date. When our scheduled day came and they didn’t show, I received no response to phone calls or messages the entire morning. They claimed to have no record of the conversation or booking.

I HIGHLY recommend Moving Forward! Abby and her entire crew are professional, responsive and kind. I am an executor to an estate and had to sell a house and then box and move all the belongings to storage. Moving Forward offered a fair estimate and continued to stay in touch during this challenging situation. The Moving Forward team arrived on time and got right to work to box the entire house. What was estimated to take two days, turned to one high power day.

This was such an easy peasy move. The guys were soooo very kind soooo fast. They also were careful to treat our belongings with respect. We are very grateful!!
Moving Forward did a fantastic job with our recent moving job. To understand the job, they helped move a gun safe and various pieces of antique furniture from my parents’ 3-story home into our home. It was an in-state job that I thought was priced fairly based on the weight, locations between homes, and the moving logistics that were needed. The quote process was handled online and was easy to manage. They were able to accommodate our schedule and communicated their arrival times.
Moving Forward did an outstanding job with a very tricky move involving furniture going between three different houses. The crew of three was professional, courteous, and introduced themselves with a handshake at each house, which made a great first impression. They took exceptional care with every piece of furniture, especially one extra-heavy, awkward item that wasn't easy to move. Everything was handled with care and efficiency. I highly recommend Moving Forward and would definitely use them again!
