Part 2 Continuing review from David Claxton. Ran out of room After the driver left, the kitchen was not finished being packed. We had no walk through, so if we did we would had known. Not to mention it was 11pm at night, and we did indeed leave because of having to meet the crew in MS. How we found out we were missing items was when we finally moved into our new home and unpacked. Part of the kitchen was missing.

Do not under any circumstances use central transportation. We had the most horrible experience. We moved from TX to MS. They contracted our move out to Appleton Movers out of San Antonio. The crew showed up late. Came with a crew of 2, plus our estimator showed up. We had a 2200sqft home, a lot to load up. We did 95% of the packing of our home. They were left with just the kitchen. Working with such a minimal crew and so much to move, it became chaotic and extremely unorganized.

Absolute trash, would never return a phone call to let us know when they were going to drop our furniture off and when we did get a hold of someone it was always the same I don't know. On both pick up and drop off they showed up more than an hour after the set times periods they gave, really wouldn't have been a big deal if they would have just called and let us know they were running behind we get that it happens.
What a joke this company is! From the surveyor not contacting us until last minute, to some items being stolen. I can't believe this company still exists and is in business. The packers come in acting like thugs, not wanting to do any work...LAZY! We had to justify why we wanted things packed and how we wanted them packed. Very unprofessional packers, wanting to just hurry up and get out. One packer had the audacity to even ask for a beer that was in our fridge. Wow, is all I can say.
I called this company to provide me a quote on a move that I needed within a week. I was told they would need someone to come out and a quote would be provided later. Dennis Marek the Regional Sales Manager came to my home, and he was unprofessional and appeared racist. I allowed him to walk through my home as I worked and once, he was done he stated he would send me a quote. It has been 5 days and he never called or sent that email, so I let him inside my home for nothing. Communication is key to anything.

I originally booked my cross country move with a different company, but after a friend had a bad experience with that company, I called United to switch. I was still very nervous about the process but it could not have gone smoother or been a better experience. From the initial walk through, to my point of contact throughout the process and the crew- everyone was amazing to work with. I will not book with another company for any other move!!
